Yeah such a terrible team we have. I’d abandon ship now if I was you.
What? Life long die-hard fan, I could never. I didn't watch every game of the worst five year run in NFL history to abandon ship, at any point.
But after the Hopkins trade, I won't be offended at seeing us predicted to come in last place, and we don't have the cap to fix our roster. The more I think about it, the more I think we're kind of writing this year off - we're stuck with Gurley, don't know what's up with Cooks, and the front 7 outside of Aaron Donald looks to be nearly XFL caliber - and as if that wasn't enough, we're probably rolling this same offensive line out next year.
I'll still pick us to win the West, and I'll still hope that Goff can turn it around and that the OL gets better....and hope that the draft picks that will probably almost all go to the defense can come in and play.
But the harsh reality is that we're probably going to feature the same OL and worse DL next year than what we had last year.
