To me guys I've always thought while it was risky the rams front office rolled the dice on the new CBA and factored a lot of there thinking/planning ahead with those contracts. Goff's contract would be a slight over pay if he regressed into Ryan Tannehill but since that hasn't come close to happening he is a bargain with room to restructure of needed with the new cap situation really kicking in for 2021. Rs have options. We overpaid for Gurley and Cooks but now that all changes if Gurley makes it through this off-season still a ram which most of us forsee happening he is cuttable next year. Same with Cooks if need be or even trade bait for cooks and draft his replacement in this year's Uber talented wide receiver draft. Lastly Aaron Donald speaks for himself. That contract a total bargain as it rolls along. Is it time for the media and pundits to begin eating some crow???

Also the new CBA might alter our approach this off-season I still hold firm that this team will not open up that stadium without making some type of splash. They are not going in there to experiment with a roster and hope for the best.

Last thought let's see what Dak Prescott winds up getting. While he is a good qb the dude has yet to win a playoff game has Zeke very good wideouts and a tremendous offensive line so again goff's contract will be a bargain. Now Maholmes is on a planet all on his own so of Prescott comes even close to that dudes contract rams should give Goff part ownership
Lol

Mahomes could ask for whatever and deserves it and should get it Dak not even in the same universe. That's why Goff's deal was smart. Everyone asking why pay him and others early etc. Like I said I believe rams rolled the dice and won on those and Donald. Although it doesn't look like it yet even on the other two contracts. I believe next up will be Jalen Ramsey. Kupp and JJ next season.

Exactly right. And Rams fans have been saying this since Goff signed. You don't want to reach the new CBA deal without having your QB under contract. Especially with the 2021 salary jump. Cousins is gonna end up in that same range.

It's always the media over hyping, and creating chaos it doesn't matter what it pertains to sports, politics, viruses, conspiracies, etc. it's all bout the hysteria the agenda and the clicks now as opposed to how many newspapers you sold back in the day lol.

When we signed Gurley I was happy because he deserved it and was such a huge part of the offense. But we all knew it was risky. Rams got bit right away, and tbh from this point forward I am against paying any RB big money. I don't care who it is. I would draft the position as required as there are good options in every class.

As expected we see a rush of activity once the CBA was signed.
