Really nice pick DYVKX!! Nice size at 6ft 3/246! He's supposed to be a OLB, But I see him more of a SILB!
* 4.67-40
* Benched 21X
* 33.5 Vert.
* 118.0 Broad jump
* 4.30 short shuttle
* and a 6.92 3-cone drill
* Plus a decent 122.2 SPARQ score!
He should be good help for Miami!(y)

Yep! I think he'll play a similar role to that in Miami. Maybe eventually can take over as the MLB if he develops right. I'm happy with him.

I'm going to be sending PMs to all our GMs in the near future. I'll be talking about two things, one of which is important now and one of which will be important in the near future.

1. Some of our GMs are forgetting to notify the next two GMs that they are on the clock or on deck. Please remember to do that. The PM will repeat this as I can't be certain all our GMs will have read this post.

We all appreciate those GMs who have covered for them!(y)

2. In our first ROD mock we only went 4 rounds. In our second ROD mock I only managed the mock for the first 4 rounds but I believe that someone took over (@TheDYVKX ?) for me and possibly did all 7 rounds. But not with the full cast of GMs we started with. I don't know how many continued on and how many rounds it went because I wasn't paying much attention. I only promised to do the first 4 rounds this year but that was mainly because I have a non-negotiable time limit I must adhere to. It appears we will be finishing much earlier than I anticipated so while I'm not going to do all 7 rounds I am willing to preside until I have to go (or the day before depending). Unless @TheDYVKX wants to take over after round 4 or at any other time.

What I need from all our GMs is confirmation that you are willing to go all 7 rounds or not. In addition, assuming not all want to go all 7 rounds, I need a list of all the GMs who are willing to take on an additional team. I'm not sure how @TheDYVKX wants to proceed with that portion of this mock but while I am running it there will be a stipulation that must be followed by all the GMs that have more than one team. NO TRADES BETWEEN YOUR 2 TEAMS. For obvious reasons.

I'll be sending those PMs in the next few days. Those GMs for which item number 1 doesn't apply just ignore it. I would appreciate it if ALL the GMs responded to item number 2. After I've received replies from everyone I will publish a list of teams available (from the GMs who don't want to do all 7 rounds) and the GMs who are willing to take on another team. I will then ask for preferences in teams and we'll talk it through who gets who. Hopefully everyone will want to do all 7 rounds and item number 2 will be moot but we need to be prepared for it if necessary.

I'm down to do more and take another team if I have to! I'm also willing to be the commissioner but if anyone else would like to do it, feel free to step up. I don't have consistent access to a computer but if I have to I know I'll be able to manage on my phone when I can't. These gadgets are pretty fancy.

Pick is in.

With pick 109 of the ROD Mock Draft The Sanfwancisco Fortywhiners select

K. D. Cannon - WR - Baylor

Overview

KD O'Keith Cannon chose Baylor as a top-50 national recruit because of the receiver-friendly offense that then-head coach Art Briles ran in Waco. With the tumult in the program this offseason, the firing of Briles resulted in Cannon writing on Snapchat that "you'll probably never see me in a Baylor uniform again." Eventually he cooled off, deciding to finish his collegiate career with the Bears. The team was happy to have him back, as he played well enough to earn first-team All-Big 12 honors (87-1,215, 13 TDs). This was no surprise, since Cannon was a 1,000-yard receiver and honorable mention All-Big 12 and consensus Freshman All-American in his rookie year (seven starts, 58-1,030, eight TDs). Cannon's numbers were down a bit in 2015 (50-868, six TDs), although he was a second-team All-Big 12 pick after starting every game.

Analysis

Strengths

Extremely athletic. Able to leap over low tackle attempts and twist upper body in mid-air to adjust to the throw. Smooth, long strider who can eat up cushions and go get it on vertical routes. Difficult to overthrow him. Looks to stack cornerbacks on his hip when he has desired positioning on post routes. Plus ball tracking. Adjusts his path to the flight of the ball and can track it over his shoulder. Typically a body catcher, but flashes ability to snatch throws well outside of his frame.

Weaknesses

Slim frame lacks route strength. Pad level way too high into breaks for comeback routes causing him to skid to a stop. Shows some balance issues in his routes. Missing sharp stop-and-open ability to create space underneath. Body catcher who struggled with contested catches. Finished 2016 with nine drops. Waits on throws rather than snatching at the high point. Baylor offense prevented defenses from physically challenging his release. Ran a route stick with good stops, gos and stop-and-gos.

NFL Comparison

Paul Richardson

Bottom Line

Cannon is slightly build and a novice route-runner but has outstanding vertical speed to climb over the top of cornerbacks and force safety help his way. Cannon may not have the short area shiftiness for a move inside, so he will likely become a niche prospect who fits with teams looking for a field stretcher with some homerun potential.

I really like this kid. Passionate and competitive. Has spoken to the Rams this week and would be rapt to have him on our roster.

Hey man. I'm happy to do the full 7 rounds, as I have a full 7 round plan of attack - I'm happy to carry on as we are, will happily take over another team or happily be commissioner / co-commissioner.

Riverumbbq becoming our first volunteer:
If someone backs out, I can take on another team if necessary.
Thanks River but you'll have to volunteer again when I send you a PM because I can't do this in this thread, I have to make a list and make sure EVERYONE replies, see who wants another team et cetera. But thanks!(y)

Okay, I'm ready to make the pick. With the 110th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select...Adam Bisnowaty, OG, Pittsburgh.

@Barrison is on the clock.

shaunpinney volunteering for everything:
Hey man. I'm happy to do the full 7 rounds, as I have a full 7 round plan of attack - I'm happy to carry on as we are, will happily take over another team or happily be commissioner / co-commissioner.
You must never have been in the military or you'd know to never volunteer for anything. :LOL: Again though, you'll have to say all that again when I PM you.
