Let me say this:

Based upon the immediate pre and post draft personas of Goff and Wentz, I am very much more concerned now with the Goff pick than before draft night.

Goff was alone and looked scared. Deer in the headlights, eyes glassed, not confident he could do it but under immense pressure, scared. After the pick he behaved like Johnny Highball. Like he deserved it and it was all about image. Dismissive of the kid who handed him his hat, cocky, etc.

Wentz was calm and surrounded by family. Chatting, smiling, supported, happy and confident. After his pick he was respectful, humble, and cool as a cucumber. Very much like Warner always was.

I hated seeing that. It lept out at me.

I have a sinking feeling.

I get some of the same feelings. I hire a lot of people at work and Wentz would have been my pick to hire based on how he conducts himself.
Probably means nothing but it still bothers me.

At draft central, Goff was favored 85% over Wentz. The people wanted Goff. I was surprised how one sided it was.

Agreed--

I don't think these guys get it. Goff is a total professional . Love the Go Bears & go Rams.
-- I like Fishers feeling on Goff & this guy is going to be special.
--His mom is right on as well.Smart, hot, & cool. Dad was right there supporting him. Fireman montality !! Go to work & be ready in case of a fire.
-- This guy is a pure passer will move the chains. Finally a QB who is awesome in the Red Zone.

I think Wentz must have been relieved that he did not have an Aaron Rodgers like green room experience. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who hacked Tunsil's Twitter and Instagram accounts.

This post was edited to remove all mention of Goff sneaking out from the draft to personally piss in peoples Cheerios.

And there's probably some 7th round DT who was more social, personable, and likable than Aaron Donald was. Who gives a shit?

It's about what happens on the field and Goff wins there.

to be fair this 21 year old kid has just realised his life dream of being drafted to play in the NFL ...and not just drafted but no 1 overall ...by a team that liked him so much they jumped from 15 to 1 ....he was probably taking it all in and relishing the moment

now don't get me wrong I wanted wentz to but im just as happy to have Goff and #16 is our guy

No worries on Goff. Some people are just introverts.

He's like the Zack Grenke of football. A deep thinker that happens to be very athletic.

Often these types are able to play at a higher level. And by watching his game tape i see a guy that knows exactly where every read is and is able to process every bit of it at the highest level which is why he's the first pick in the draft.

I'm excited to watch both sides of the ball again for the Rams! Hopefully it stays that way.

Also, is Joey Bosa a freaking cartoon? I swear we've entered a "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" world or something where cartoons live among us. I had never heard him talk until last night.... my god man... and his head without all the hair... I don't know, just seems very cartoonish to me lol.

Goff needs to learn to work from behind the Center. Is that going to be a lengthy process?
Only objective replies please.
No. He has been working on it. He is going to be just fine. His feet are so good that the drops are going to be seamless for him His eyes are naturally downfield all the time. I think this concern has been a bit overblown. If anything, I expect it to help his game. It will slow the pace down a bit for him.

Plus The Rams offensive line is going to be so much better this year.Todd Gurley should be better than ever as well.

-Goff as Snisher say is he has that special DNA from his mother & father.
Has a God given talent. He gets it.

You ask Goff &!he will tell you it's from hard work.Henstrives to get better.Says he wants people to compare other players to him.He doesn't want to compare himself to other players. He likes to take pieces from The best.

Goff strives himself of being accurate. When you talk accurate it will be all in the timing & putting the ball where your player can add YAC !!

Don't know why it would. Flacco, RGIII, Roethlisberger, Cam Newton all adjusted no issue
And I think I read somewhere that the Rams ran 40% out of the shotgun
Just saw an interview with Chad Pennington, who has been working with Goff during this whole process leading up to the draft, and he said Goff already has this stuff down. He can take snaps under center, he already has a grasp of the terminology, route concepts, protection schemes and such. I am so excited. As long as our OL doesn't go down the drain again and we give this kid decent protection (no QB can survive without it) he is going to light this league up!

Lol.

Yeah, i'd rather sandpaper my nutsack to a smooth sheen than watch Prince for 2 hours.
I've never seen the movie, ever, swear on a bible. As a metal guy and musician back in the late 70's & 80's I just couldn't get behind Madonna, Prince, Cher etc...most artist with one name. But, I do appreciate and recognize now what an amazing & creative talent he was. Dude could shred!

Our receiving core just got that much better
Maybe Anquan Boldin will look at things a little differently now when he finds a place to play

I've liked Prince's music well before Purple Rain (one of the great original soundtracks of all time). The movie without the music sucked.

Of course, since #1 on my list of great original soundtracks of all time is Superfly by Curtis Mayfield, and the movie there both sucked and was morally reprehensible, Purple Rain is an improvement.
How about Shaft? Love that soundtrack and also the Dirty Harry soundtrack. Superfly is awesome.
