They still thinking about neutral sites or will they be alternating away for NFC then AFC?
 
No shit. Ravens matchup sucks. But if we tool the rest of this roster to ensure we beat the 9ers, i.e. address the trenches a bit, we should be ok.

Maybe both teams will have won their divisions or even get a first round bye locked in by then.

But yeah. It sucks to play a physical defense a week before the playoffs.

This is what they'd floated early in the discussion for a 17th game though to keep it balanced. You can't have a balanced schedule with half the teams playing 1 more home game.

The AFC home one year and NFC home the next could have some serious implications on some teams struggling to reach the playoffs.

I’d feel better about all of this if teams were given an extra bye week.

Rotating with an AFC team based on their finish in the division. It’s like the cycle where we play one ADC division yearly but the one game is from the division we played now two years ago. They did this so you won’t play the same inter conference team two years in a row. Keeping opponents cycling and fresher.
 
So if (when) this becomes official, will they just add this to the end of the schedule? All the games would be played week 18? If so, hopefully the Rams have already clinched home field for the playoffs and they can send the practice squad to Baltimore to play the game.

Yes. That's a physical team so resting key guys would be nice there. (y)

No it'll be mixed in with the other games and the schedule will be set up like before.
 
I think if it were an NFC team it would screw up a lot of tiebreakers for playoff seeding
