Wood's catch/non catch

I know we got screwed on this play. But how many out there was overjoyed as this kind of play always happens to us.......not for us.....and now we have a guy that can make that happen....... I'm ecstatic and pissed the ref took that away. Yes, the next play made it moot.....but that is the kind of outstanding we've been missing for sometime.......

Kudos my man! Kudos!

A quarter of the season is in the books with Cooper Kupp producing at least two catches in each game. For fun Kupp's production projected out over the full 16 games would be:

Catches 56
Yards 744
YPC 13.3
TD 8

Considering the Rams have Goff spreading the passes around Kupp is having a very productive rookie season. Look how bunched the top pass catchers are with Kupp right in the mix tied for 2nd in catches and TDs. He is tied for 3rd in yards too. He has caught more than his share of key 3rd down passes. Amazingly, after today Todd Gurley is the Rams leading receiver. It's hard to live up to some of the hype Kupp has received but, he has shown that he is not your average rookie. Cooper Kupp is an important part of the complete turnaround of the Rams pass catching corp. He is right in the mix with the young Rams veterans play while playing like a veteran himself.

The "Battle for LA"

You know before the season we discussed this and what amazed me was that anyone in the media actually thought a mediocre Chargers roster with a mid thirties QB and a new coaching staff headed by a questionable hire would win. And what was more frustrating was the constant and what so many of us saw as unfair bashing of Goff, Gurley, and some other players on this roster, not to mention our young HC.

Now, I'm often wrong on things as a fan, admittedly. But man did I see that one correctly. And after watching Vinny and some others sucking up to the broke @$$ Spanos family (and puking shortly thereafter) to include all the preseason garbage media takes where they don't bother to analyze a full roster, it sure feels good to see things turning out the way it is right now.

Here's hoping these sorry media clowns continue their ignorance. This week is going to be enjoyable watching these morons go from spin control on their BS takes to overhype of the team as we know they will. And again I hope McVay keeps this team grounded, and I think he will, because they're not at the point yet where they can get all cocky and read their press clippings.

EDIT: Oh and one more thing... After this one watch and see what the Coliseum looks like next Sunday. Spanos is going to be crapping his man diapers.

What McVay said to Tavon

In the first half we used a timeout for what I'm assuming was a formation mistake, but did anyone read McVay's lips when Tavon walked over to the sideline??

Tavon was walking over and the camera was zoomed in on McVay and he asked Tavon twice "what don't you understand?"

I think this tells us Tavon is still adjusting to the new offense and isn't 100% where he needs to be. The good news is he's been effective already and that should only increase as he gets more comfortable.

NFL Gameday Morning Show

Marshall just representing the Rams well. :yay:

Dude had me LMAO during the analysis of "which team has a better chance of the playoffs" between Seattle and Houston... Irvin goes on about Seattle of course, to include how weak the NFC West is. Marshall chooses Houston due to their weak division, then tells Irvin "get your hand off me" when he's givin him $#!T about the Rams and division.

Then the picks come down and he's the only one that takes the Rams. Even answers the questions well since he actually knows the team and what they have.

Sure is nice watching a pregame show with good Rams' representation. Way to represent Marshall and keep the faith brother. Hope the Rams make us all look smart today lol.

McVay

Long time lurker here.....from the StL. I must admit when the Rams hired him, I was unsure how he'd do being the head coach of our beloved Rams. However, I am flat out impressed. The job doesn't look too big for him. He's running the show and it feels like he's super over-prepared. Love it.
I always felt Fisher and Co were just unorganized, running around crazy on the sidelines, fumbling for flags they couldn't find...etc. What a stark contrast with McVay's discipline and preparation. McVay strikes me with his "Tom Landry" coolness, never let them see you sweat attitude. Love it.

Am I the only one seeing this?

Let's kick some @$$ today fellas!

Go Rams!
