Goff vs. Wentz Bowl: Discussion

I super stoked about our winning record win today!!! I wanted to create a discussion for what I expect there to be a ton of media coverage for this game next week.

Did they ever flex it to Sunday night?

If we beat them next week we move into the driver seat for the #2 spot and a first round bye! Haha

I pray the Panthers wreck the Viqueens next week!

Our next two games are pretty much going to be the middle of the football world, especially if we win next week!

Ps Goff > Wentz if you didn’t already know yet for those of you slow learners out there! :D

4K Blu Ray Players

Thinking about getting one this Christmas season. I have everything I need for it. Only a year old 4k TV with HDR technology. HDMI cables. Even have Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on 4K disc. Speaking of discs, the only thing that has me holding my $$$ back is the cost of the movie. At $25-$30 a pop, they can get pretty pricey.

But when Thor Ragnarok and Avengers Infinity War come out on blu ray it could be amazing.

So, any experience out there??? Is there a difference than my normal blu ray movies?

This Game is SOO Huge

No, the Cards are not at their best right now. It is a divisional game and that is always important for bragging rights and it has tie breaker implications in the NFC West. However, the next HUGE hurdle is being a winning team. How many years have we longed for this? How long has the team and the whole organization yearned for this? The chant has been for more than a decade, "let's get to .500." We did that.

That's why this game just can't be a trap game for us, it means too much.

Rams at Cardinals

It's Game Day!

The GDT is a live thread tradition here at ROD.

While we all get fired up watching the game, please remember one of our core principles; we always aim to show respect for our team.

Despite the emotional highs and lows watching a game, we will moderate this thread with that in mind, however please refrain from name calling. This applies to players, the Rams organization, and others.

This is our team. Win or lose. Good days and bad.

Go Rams!

With Connor Barwin out due to a forearm injury, Los Angeles has made a roster move to bolster its depth at outside linebacker for the Week 13 matchup with Arizona.

The Rams have promoted outside linebacker Carlos Thompson from their practice squad and waived outside linebacker Ejuan Price.

Listed at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, Thompson signed with the Rams just prior to the start of the offseason program and was on the active roster through training camp. While he was waived when the club reduced its roster to 53 players, Thompson was signed to Los Angeles’ practice squad and has been there ever since.

Head coach Sean McVay said this week Samson Ebukam will start in Barwin's place at outside linebacker. With his promotion, Thompson could be a part of the Rams' defensive rotation and play a role on special teams on Sunday.

Before signing with the Rams, Thompson spent the 2015 season and 2016 offseason program with the Texans. The outside linebacker signed with Houston as an undrafted free agent out of Ole Miss. Thompson played in two games backing 2015, making a pair of tackles.

A 2017 seventh-round pick out of Pitt, Price appeared in the Week 10 victory over the Texans, seeing action on special teams.

The Rams will travel to Arizona on Saturday afternoon, following the club’s walk-thru.

Did Alshon Jeffery contract just set the market for Watkins?

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/...-jeffery-four-year-extension-worth-52-million

"The deal is worth $52 million and also includes $1 million per year in incentives and $27 million in guarantees, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter."

Watkins is a bit younger. Jefferey has put up slightly better numbers this year, but it seem like this is about what it will take to get a deal done with Watkins.
