Go to the 20:30 mark to see his Rams predictions. It’s like he just randomly guessed.

He has the Rams losing to the Eagles, Colts, Ravens, Jaguars, Panthers, Cardinals, Seahawks, and Falcons. :zany1:

It’s sad to see how lame football analysis has become.

Davante Adams Interview On the Pivot with Ryan Clark

Not sure if this was posted anywhere else? Didn't see it.

Love interviews like this. Conversational between players with mutual respect and insight. Great listen. I never knew much about Adams, but the more I do, the more respect I have for him. I thought maybe he was a diva. Not so. Anybody that grows up in East Palo Alto has to have a pretty hard shell.

Not Strictly A Rams Post , I Just Feel So Fortunate, This Isn't Us.

We as Rams fans have a top notch organization and starts at the very top.

Stan Kroenke is just like the rest of the Ram organization One if not the best in the league
Thank you!! Stan the man!!!!

Just like any team who has the owner in the draft room actually making picks = lost cause.
Haslam has done so much worse and has no business running a football team.

Speaking to the media earlier this week, Browns owner Jimmy Haslam revealed that the franchise’s high-profile, fifth-round selection of the former Colorado and Jackson State quarterback wasn’t his choice.

10 Observations from Rams' joint practice with Cowboys: Jimmy Garoppolo and Davante Adams lead strong day for offense, defensive line and Quentin Lake set tone for defense

by Stu Jackson & Wyatt Miller

OXNARD, Calif. – The Rams conducted the first of two joint practices of the preseason, traveling north to Oxnard for a session with the Cowboys that featured extensive team drills and competitive situational work. Los Angeles' offense had a strong day behind quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and wide receiver Davante Adams, while the defensive line set the tone and Quentin Lake made the play of the day.
Senior staff writer Stu Jackson spent the afternoon watching the offense, while staff writer Wyatt Miller watched the defense. Notes on each unit below.

Offense

1) Garoppolo's passing leads the way. The veteran quarterback's passing was on point throughout the afternoon, from several completions to Adams and wide receiver Puka Nacua to a deep ball to wide receiver Tutu Atwell. Although the Cowboys defense was without two key pieces in cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee) and outside linebacker Micah Parsons (holding in amid negotiations for long-term contract extension), Garoppolo still had a strong showing.
"I thought Jimmy was awesome," head coach Sean McVay said. "Ball didn't touch the ground much for him."

2) A good "get-right" day for Atwell. The fifth-year receiver didn't connect on many deep balls in training camp, but that changed Tuesday when he streaked past Cowboys safety Malik Hooker for the explosive touchdown catch.

3) Adams is everywhere. The veteran wide receiver was separating from Dallas' cornerbacks with ease throughout Tuesday afternoon. The Cowboys secondary's only answer for him was a rare dropped pass. His most impressive catch of the day was a toe-tap grab in the back of the end zone early in red zone drills, on an equally impressive and precise pass from Garoppolo. He also hauled in a touchdown catch during team drills.

4) Newly extended Kyren Williams breaks off a long run. It was the best run of the day by a Rams running back, Williams taking a toss to the right, making one cut and speeding up field.

5) Konata Mumpfield continues to shine. The rookie wide receiver made a tough catch on third down early on in team drills on a pass from quarterback Stetson Bennett. The separation and hands Mumpfield showed in training camp carried over into Tuesday's joint practice, drawing praise on a couple of other catches from wide receivers coach Eric Yarber.

Defense

6) Quentin Lake makes play of the day. When quarterback Dak Prescott targeted wide receiver George Pickens in the back of the end zone, Lake met him in the air. He ripped the ball out of Pickens' arms and somehow got both feet down, turning what would have been a touchdown into an interception and touchback. In all, that was Lake's fourth interception since training camp started.
A few impressive run stops and a stifled screen made it another complete showing for the fourth-year safety.
7) Defensive line dominates. The amount of time Cowboys running backs reached the second level against the Rams' starting front could be counted on one hand. Even without captain Kobie Turner (back), the Rams completely owned the trenches and everyone contributed. Starting left tackle Tyler Guyton was out with an injury, but apart from that, the Cowboys' line was intact, the Rams just had more power.
Naturally, outside linebacker Jared Verse bullied backup tackle Nate Thomas for multiple pressures and also had some good reps on the other side against Terrance Steele. He also took down running back Javonte Williams by a singular shoulder pad. Defensive end Braden Fiske and outside linebacker Byron Young also penetrated the backfield a few times.
8) Poona Ford lives in the backfield. Even though the defensive line already got some love, Ford deserves to be singled out. It seemed like every time the Cowboys ran the ball with Ford on the field, he was hitting the ball-carrier in the backfield. He even picked up 220-pound running back Javonte Williams and swung him back a few yards.
Against the pass, Ford's bull rush was giving the Cowboys' interior fits, and he even batted a pass from Prescott into the air, which was almost intercepted by inside linebacker T**y R***er.( Yes I know it's sad but, I can't print that name on any article I post. My apologies to the sane) It's obvious that, although he's known for his run stopping ability, Ford is a more-than-capable pass rusher.

9) Kam Kinchens lays the boom and bats the ball. The second-year safety showed up early when he closed in on wide receiver Traeshon Holden from behind to bat the ball away as it arrived. Later on, he laid a shoulder into wide receiver Jalen Tolbert after he caught a screen pass. It was a good day of both coverage and tackling for Kinchens.

10) Omar Speights looks decisive and powerful. Whether he was chasing down pass-catchers in the flat, shooting gaps to stop running backs or swim-moving blockers on blitzes, everything Speights did on Tuesday looked smooth and strong. The second-year inside linebacker made multiple impact plays, including a would-be sack on Prescott along with a tackle for loss.

(So great to hear hopfully it's Speights and Landman and seeing pooh in the Mix after he is healthy.
Would love it if Dolac shows enough to get a couple looks toward end of year.)

Does Stafford have a Golf related back injury?

Maybe this was disclosed and I missed it, but this seems plausible.

My son mentioned this to me today. He read that Stafford's doctor, the one that has been treating him, while one of the Rams doctors, he is also known to specialize in golf related back injuries. So the thought is did he hurt himself playing golf?

He participated in the OTA's in Maui and then played in a team sponsored golf event in Maui. He also played in a pro/am golf event this summer.

Makes you wonder, especially since they have been cryptic about his injury if he hurt it at that team event?

RIP Loni Anderson

I am kind of late with this, but I was looking to see if anyone had posted this already? She was very fun in the show WKRP in Cincinnati. RIP Loni...

Rams RB Blake Corum explains what he's doing differently in Year 2

Rams RB Blake Corum explains what he's doing differently in Year 2

Tyler Greenawalt
Rams Wire

Los Angeles Rams second-year running back Blake Corum didn't have the greatest rookie season. The third-round pick out of Michigan rushed only 58 times for 207 yards in 17 games before he fractured his arm in Week 18 to miss the entire postseason.
Now in Year 2, Corum remains the main backup to Kyren Williams but might have some pressure with rookie Jarquez Hunter sitting behind him. Corum, though, has noticed a clear difference between this season and this past season — specifically with his approach to the game.
"Year 1, I was trying to be as perfect in everything that I did. I didn’t want to make any mistakes. And that slowed me down a bit in terms of my capabilities," he said. "Now I’m just out there letting it loose. I’m playing at a lower weight, I feel faster, I feel more agile, I feel great. Between that and the game slowing down, that’s the biggest difference."
That combination — not being a perfectionist and slimming down — will be crucial for his development in 2025. The Rams don't need him to be a bellcow, but they'd likely want him to be a solid role player on the offense so Williams doesn't always need to carry the full load.
Corum and Hunter also play the position differently from each other and Williams. That trio of skillsets could open up the playbook a bit more for Sean McVay in 2025 and give Matthew Stafford more weapons to work with as the Rams look to make another playoff push.

Here's hoping Corum and the Rookie Can still have opposing defenses worried about our run game,
While Kyren gets his breather. That would be a huge plus.

Nate 'Peanut Punch' Landman makes waves at training camp

Nate 'Peanut Punch' Landman makes waves at training camp with violent precision, command of the field

LOS ANGELES – As soon as Davis Allen caught the pass, inside linebacker Nate Landman cocked his fist. The tight end only took one step upfield before Landman punched the ball loose from under his left arm, and the pigskin skittered away, recovered by the defense.
Offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur said that two plays prior to that, Landman had addressed the defense shouting, "Hey, we're going to get a ball out here at some point," and then he made it happen himself.

Login to view embedded media View: https://x.com/RamsNFL/status/1949230194394632383?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1949230194394632383%7Ctwgr%5E80f1b28d8df65927e068e0725ad863a752d4a178%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.therams.com%2Fnews%2Fnate-peanut-punch-landman-makes-waves-at-training-camp-forcing-fumbles-command-of-field

Over the past two seasons, Landman has forced six fumbles, tied for third-most among off-ball linebackers in that time, according to Pro Football Focus. Last year, the Rams' 10 forced fumbles were tied for the sixth-fewest in the NFL, so Landman's expertise in that area can certainly help improve that rank. The key, he said, is to find opportunities to rip the ball out while not sacrificing the tackle.
"Sometimes when you're tracking the hip on the tackle, it shows up right there and there's your opportunity," Landman said. "I'm a stronger ball puncher with the right hand than I am with the left. I'm definitely more comfortable moving that way, and that's when I tend to seek those opportunities with the carrier going away (from me)."
"I almost want to call him 'Peanut Punch Landman,'" said safety Quentin Lake with a smile, referring to the move made famous by former Bears cornerback Charles 'Peanut' Tillman.
Throughout the first two weeks of training camp, Landman has acted as a ball magnet whose violent precision has constantly threatened to jar the ball loose. The 26-year-old from Zimbabwe is entering his fourth NFL season, and has already built a reputation as a sound tackler, leader and turnover creator in the middle of the field.

In 2023, when Landman started 14 of 16 games for Atlanta, he was one of the best run defenders in the league at his position, ranking third in run stops (constituting a failed play by the offense) with 46, and missing just 6.8% of his tackle attempts, via PFF.

He attributed some of that tackling successful to his rugby background.
"The game has kind of moved on from keeping your head out of it into wrap and roll, and those are the kind of fundamentals they teach in rugby when you're growing up and starting it because, obviously, you're playing without pads," Landman said this offseason. "That translates to football really well, especially in the open field, outside zone, or different schemes like that."
Throughout two weeks of training camp practice, Landman has been shooting gaps and beating running backs to the edge, often throwing jabs at the football when he does. His elite instincts have given the Rams' offense fits.
"If he feels a lineman leaning or something like that... he's not afraid to trigger, and you like that from guys," LaFleur said. "He's testing himself out here in July, getting himself ready for September. I think we're lucky to have him and the leadership he's bringing right now. He's going to be a good player."

His familiarity with the Rams' defensive scheme has helped him transition "seamlessly" this offseason, inside linebackers coach Greg Williams told theRams.com during OTAs.
Rams senior defensive assistant Jimmy Lake, quarterbacks coach Dave Ragone and former Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris coached Landman in Atlanta. Everything L.A. heard about him from those coaches has materialized, from his proclivity for being in the right place at the right time to his "natural leadership traits," said head coach Sean McVay.
Whether he's barking orders in the middle of the defense or sprinting to congratulate teammates after a big play, his presence is felt as much before and after the play as it is during.
"I've always grown up in the defense where the... middle linebacker is kind of the quarterback of the defense, directing traffic," Landman said. "That's the place where I feel comfortable in. I think it elevates my game, allows me to know what the front's in, where the defensive backs are coming down (and) if this safety's coming down here on this motion."
"He's become one of the leaders of the defense and he's such a vocal guy," said defensive coordinator Chris Shula. "He's a glue guy. He can organize the whole defense, he can put a lot on his plate, he's always in the right spot, and you just feel how physical he is."
That physicality was put on display in pads when he stuffed running back Blake Corum in a short-yardage situation. Landman squared his shoulders, got low to the ground and stopped Corum in his tracks, pushing him back behind the line of scrimmage.
That textbook tackle was just one of the many impressive plays he's made during training camp that have drawn the attention of everyone on the field and in the stands at Loyola Marymount University.

"He practices the right way (and) communicates at an All-Pro level," Lake said. "He's setting himself up for a lot of success and he's going to do it this whole season. I truly believe that."

Cobie Durant embracing collaboration, confidence ahead of Year 4, leading to impressive showing early in Rams Camp

Cobie Durant embracing collaboration, confidence (and dance moves) ahead of Year 4, leading to impressive showing early in Rams Training Camp

Wyatt Miller
Staff Writer

LOS ANGELES – Rams cornerback Cobie Durant let his personality shine from Day 1 of training camp.
Defending a deep ball to wide receiver Puka Nacua down the left sideline, Durant met his adversary in the air to bat away a back-shoulder throw, which he followed with an emphatic Nae Nae dance celebration. The next day, he hit the Stanky Leg dance after denying rookie tight end Terrance Ferguson on an end zone shot.
Whenever he makes a big play, Durant busts out a move that he's schemed up ahead of time, part of his devotion to playing freely and with confidence in 2025.
"When you can come out here and have fun, man, and have that great energy and just engage with one another, engage with the fans, it builds your confidence, and that's a big thing for me this year," Durant told theRams.com.

250729_cobiefeature_16x9

This offseason, Durant has embraced collaboration and the idea that "no question is a dumb question." Whether its a veteran or a coach, Durant has allowed himself to seek advice about little things that he may not have in years past. It has resulted in a dynamic and confident start to Rams Training Camp presented by UNIFY Financial Credit Union for the effervescent cornerback.
"Everybody's on one accord asking questions (like) 'What techniques should we use here? Can we do this technique instead of this technique?' Or (with) what they already coached, can we just add our own sauce to what they already have and see if it will work?" Durant explained.

Whenever the ball has flown in Durant's direction during the first week of camp, the Rams' fourth-year cornerback has been there to meet it. Early on Day 1, he denied another deep ball, using impressive recovery speed to swat a pass away from a striding Nacua. And even when receivers have caught the ball, it's been through tight windows where they had nowhere to go after the catch.
Durant's personal "sauce" has certainly been visible, as he's looked decisive and athletic. On Day 2 of camp, he almost intercepted a lofty pass from quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, again going against Nacua, who's had a fantastic camp himself, just not against Durant.
As long as he stay healthy, Durant said "everything else will fall into place," so that's his main goal for 2025. In an attempt to do so, Durant has also asked his teammates about their eating habits so that he can feel as good as possible throughout the season. He already feels better as a result of that effort.
In Chris Shula's second year as defensive coordinator, Durant has his best understanding of the Rams' defense yet. Plus, an added dose of collaboration and subtle schematic adjustments has helped the Rams' defense grow as a unit in the offseason.
"I'd say (Shula's added to) our four core fundamentals, tackling, pursuit, attacking the ball, things of that nature," Durant said.
A summer full of studying tape to assure himself of his personal responsibilities on any given play has afforded Durant the knowledge and conviction to be the best version of his on-field persona: "Landshark."

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ And that's the difference between a young mindset a veteran mindset

hope to see big jump for Durant this year. We could use all the CB help we can get. Go Rams

I saw Oliver Anthony Music Live Last Night ...

Pretty fucking awesome overall if I may say so in Phoenix, AZ. I'm not a huge country fan but he wasn't that. Off memory he did the following cover songs; Freebird, Simple Man, Devil Went Down to Georgia and a popular Hank Williams and Johnny Cash songs. He played a new one called 'Hank' that comes out in a few weeks. His supporting band is incredible! I've never heard a fiddle and or chello live ever before. They also covered Primus, too.

He also played ' Scornful Woman back to back. He didn't like the first effort so played it all over a second time.

Enjoy for anyone that appreciates him.
