As much as I like reading all the accolades about or team, maybe, just maybe it's going to our heads a bit too much?

It's been a long time since we have supported a team this good, and maybe we should pump the brakes a bit until the Rams actually clinch a playoff berth

I hear what your saying but the kook aid slurping noise is too loud to pay attention!

I agree. I want the Rams to continue to play good football, and not somehow get caught in the Hollywood glamour. They need to avoid all distraction outside the stadium.

Its been way too long since I've had something to cheer about as a rams fan there's no way in hell I'm putting this kool aid bottle down. This team isn't a mirage its the real deal and one if not the most complete team in the NFL. IM ALL IN BABY!

As fans i say ENJOY it, and there's a particular group of holdover players that deserve to quietly enjoy it too.

Agree....problem is, these "tough" games against division leaders coming up?

Let's just say I see us as a two seed. The seedings in @Prime Time 's thread are all fucked up.

In exchange for allowing myself that positive outlook, I promise to not blow sunshine up your ass about it. I'm content to watch it unfold in real time.

I think you can take the season one game at a time and still enjoy the hell out of it.

I am sooo enjoying looking forward to the kickoffs... one game at a time!

Bring on HOU... should be a win with The Savage One at QB.

But... anything can happen... after all, they don't have away field advantage.

Yeah, I'm a fan. I'm going to get all caught up in the headlines. I'll let the players worry about staying grounded.

It's great the first place Rams are in the playoff hunt at the mid point of the season. The Rams are far from guaranteed a playoff spot. I think we all are a where of that. At least most of us are.

To me it's early to give a true evaluation/rating of where the Rams fit compared to the rest of the league. Generally speaking they have proven to be a top third team. A couple of wins against the Vikings and Saints would give them a lot more creditability. Right now the Rams are solid on all three phases of the game. They are winning games they should win. They simply have not played enough good teams to see whewe exactly they stack up. You could say the same thing about the Vikings and Saints but, they are all division leaders. Things have a way of getting sorted out later in the year when games have payoff implications.

Shhhh. I know man, this is my only stick-in-the-mud concern moving forward. Rams are 2-8 in the Coliseum since the move. 1-2 this year. A part of me wishes we could travel to Philly?

Rams need to start building some confidence AND get the fans fired up at home and it starts this weekend.

I can’t help but think the same thing @RhodyRams. The schedule gets tougher from now and it’s ingrained in us as Rams fans to expect the wheels to fall off.

But if they’re gonna fall off it won’t be because of what we, as fans, say or think. And if this team defies the odds and goes all the way, that won’t be because of us either. So I say we enjoy it and whatever happens, happens.

Sounds silly to me to ask FANS to temper enthusiasm about the team they love when they are doing well. Phuk that noise. I have been grinning ear to ear since we beat the Jags at their place. I will continue to read all of the accolades and feel good about this team until they give me a reason NOT to.

I just don't see the point in denying ourselves, as fans, the pride and optimism of a team that is as young and fun to watch as this one. Drinking the Kool-aid now won't make the sting any worse if they stumble. It won't change how the players prepare and respond in those cases either. I have faith in our players and coaches to stay grounded and not read their press clippings. As fans, let's enjoy the ride and hope it lasts a LONG damn time!!!!

I think we should all party like it's 1999 because this is probably the best Rams team since then.

I am not superstitious, my uncontrolled enthusiasm changes nothing to whether or not the Rams will get in the playoffs. But thinking they can get to the playoffs, watching all those experts praising my team, finally not being mocked for supporting a losing team, all of that makes it an amazing football season. I can't get enough !

No fuck that we've been mired in garbage for years and now the team is playing well and we should temper our enthusiasm? I think not. Enjoy it Rams fans enjoy it while you can no one knows when it will end but it's here now.

We could get a playoff berth and make it to nfc championship to which then you would finally enjoy yourself, and then completely shit the bed next season and you have then spent your time being hesitant instead of enjoying what is happening now. Enjoy it now not later
