Met up with @theduke practice is now over.

We both have some concerns. This was not a good practice for the O.

Biggest concern is Goff. He does not look off his primary target. Plus @theduke pointed out he pumps once prior to his throws in the same direction he is looking. This is keying the cover man that the ball is about to come his way.

I'll have more later tonight.

Somebody mix me a strong batch of koolaid.

Since they both missed game 1, I would have to say yes. Rookies need to get some playing time in the preseason.

So strange. We get all these tweets about how good the offense is good, then our live watch members come in and say the opposite. And then same thing for the defense haha. I guess you have to take tweets with a grain of salt.

Wow. I sure got a better impression from reading earlier posts about Goff. The things you listed sure seem like fixable things. The worst thing Goff can start to do is telegraph throws. (electro-shock treatments may be in order :sneaky: )

As for the rest, I sure heard a lot about Reynolds. That is great. How about Thomas?

Also, as much as I want Tavon to break out, I really get more and more sense he is fading out of plans. The fact that Shakeir (mini-me) Ryan is showing promise just reinforces my thoughts. I think Tavon's salary is one of the few things keeping him on board. And I love Tavon.

It sounds like our defense is just starting to know Goffs tendacies. Plus, Wade is probably a better defensive coordinator then Sean McVay is at offense.

This is what I saw today. Don't know what people are referring to.
Goff looked fine and it's perfectly normal for the defense to be further along than the O.
Goff does need to learn to look off his defender tho, but that comes with time in the league.

I'm attributing that to confidence issues. After the year he had, and the backlash he's gotten, I'm sure it's gotten to him. He didn't have this issue in college. TBH, whether Goff works out or not, we can still be in a good position because we got the Aaron Donald situation, which easily gets us picks in the next year draft if we trade him.

Keep letting them know....defense is already WAY ahead....in term of simplicity....they play faster because of it...never concerned if defense dominates offense in preseason....I do want the offense to move on their series in games...esp. by the 3rd preseason game.

I'd have thought they'd fix that looking off thing by now...maybe just keeping it simple to keep Goff accurate.
