If I said the same thing about NASCAR and WWE wrestling would it generate another page of posts in the quest to 100?

WWE is not a sport its entertainment, same as a play. But NASCAR is a sport because it is a competition.

It matters RB.

Suh would either transplant Brock at 5T, or play the nose. I don't think he's going to come in here and hold it down on the nose. I don't think he's a good fit period, as Brock is one of the better 5Ts in the league right now IMO.

Once again, let him go somewhere else. Draft a nose, and some LBs. Dominate.
OK - my boss - who once again was a pro coach and knows Wade - says all this 3 tech, 1 tech, stuff is BS. Wade will use the three on the line and in many cases the 5 on the line to go after gaps and he'll do it with the same players in different gaps. Brockers and Suh and in many cases AD will all be the same position depending on the look he wants and who he wants to match up against. It won't really matter who is considered a NT. He will line them up and play the gaps. Sometimes that will mean Suh would be shaded on the center, other times Brockers, and some times but not as much, that will mean AD. That is coming from him - not me - but I get what he's saying.

I'm hoping that Les has some sort of timeline in mind, even if it's not made public. They made their best pitch to Suh, and while it's reasonable to give him time to think about his options, too much time would be a mistake and a distraction. Much has been said about Suh not liking the off season and preferring to sign late in a situation where he would have more leverage. No way the Rams should wait around for that and I hope they are working on something in parallel such as Hankins. If he likes the Rams situation and is willing to sign at a good price fine, if not no reason to waste more time on this guy.

Suh would be a dominant NT in this scheme.

What the heck is going on in this thread? Cliffs Notes please.

I think this thread has officially gone off the tracks. While its mostly off topic it has been entertaining and frustrating at the same time.

Thank you for that explanation. Wade wants flexibility among the defensive linemen and the ability to give the opposing O Line different looks.

How would you like to be an offensive lineman not knowing who'll be lining up across from you? Will it be Suh, Donald, Brockers, or even a linebacker. In fact, how would you like to be the opposing quarterback.

But if they signed someone say like Hankins, who can truly only play nose tackle, instead of Suh, then our defense becomes a lot more predictable.

I was thinking the same thing only I could not put it into words. Maybe that's why we have not heard of the Rams pursuing Hankins, or any other teams for that matter.

The only thing predictable about an Aaron Donald led D-line is that the QB is going to get hit.

Apparently telling people that boxing and MMA aren't sports really upsets people.
Maybe, because they are....ultimate in competitive sports are hand to hand combat. One of the original olympic events...was wrestling....which I'd imagine are where boxing then MMA came from.
  • 6'4"HEIGHT
  • 33 1/2"ARM LENGTH
  • 307LBS.WEIGHT
  • 10 1/4"HANDS
Anyone think Suh still weighs 307???? I'd guess around 320-330 lbs.

Alright now I’m pissed. I was sure we would have an answer by now. This shit is the most dragged out fucking signing ever.

This has become like one of those movies where you know the monsters out there, but you don't know when it's going to strike. So we sit, with pins and needles on edge. This Suh movie is starting to drag...3 out 5 stars for me!
