Yeah sure, once he finally realized Jim Johnson was correct.

Why wouldn't somebody listen to Jim Johnson?

Agreed one heck of a coach, John Shaw reached out in 2006 to the Eagles and was granted permission to interview Johnson for Head Coach, but Johnson at that point in his career, did not want to be a Head Coach. He had not been diagnosed with melanoma as far as I know at that time, but maybe Johnson just did not feel up to it. Anyway RIP and what a great DC.

Right out of the Communist Manifesto, and one of Josef Stalin's favorites!
You're killing me smalls....LOL

Look around....oh, you're out in the boonies somewhere? Go to your nearest city......people say and do almost anything to get ahead. I wish it wasn't like this....but it is.

And, I'm no commie....I do believe a democracy with a lil socialism is the way to go however....starting with healthcare.

There will always be Robber Barons. Whether in Capitalism or Socialism/Communism. The difference is, in Capitalism, the underclass still eat well, stay warm and wonders what to watch on TV tonight. In socialism, they stand in lines for food, shiver, watch out for thieves to steal them blind tonight.
Allegedly....

I'm from the boondocks alright...freakin' Whittier is out in the orchard area (or was in the 50's)! Yes, I once fractured a law or two....I still have massive guilt for going 5mph over the speed limit last Tuesday! Good thing there were no cameras on those highways, or I might have been busted. Good thing the Hoody and Roger Goodell taught me when there is evidence on tape of wrongdoing, all I have to do is burn the evidence! So no worries, eh comrade?

Exactly...and, it appears it is human nature to lie/cheat/steal....

Should be stomped on hard.....agreed...but it's mostly a slap on the wrist....cheating in football is dealt with as a slap on a wrist....therefore...there is still significant motivation to cheat....due to minimal punishment. If Philly were really trying to win, they'd have photographers and undercover mic's at every Pats practice this week. Blue font but not really joking....Nick Foles looked like he saw a ghost yesterday at the press event....looked skinnier than ever too. LOL

feel sorry for you amigo, you must live in a very bad place

Former Eagles coach Steve Spagnuolo: Patriots cheated during 2005 Super Bowl

Are the Patriots cheaters? At least one former Eagles coach thinks so.

Steve Spagnuolo, who was the linebackers coach for the Eagles in 2005 when the team faced off against the Patriots in Super Bowl XXXIX, told 97.5 The Fanatic’s Anthony Gargano and Bob Cooney on Monday that he now believes late Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson was right about New England cheating during the game.

“The biggest thing we learned was make sure you have two signal callers, not one signal caller, because they may have all your signals,” Spagnuolo said, referring to the “SpyGate” scandal, in which coaching assistants under the direction of head coach Bill Belichick were caught videotaping play-calling signals from opponents’ practices.

“I remember through the course of the game Jim [Johnson] saying, ‘They’re getting our signals. They know when we’re blitzing … try to hide it.’ I remember distinctly thinking. ‘I don’t think so Jim, just concentrate on calling the game,’ ” Spagnuolo recalled. “In hindsight, he was right. When you go back and look at that tape, it was evident to us. … We believe that Tom [Brady] knew when we were pressuring him because he certainly got the ball out pretty quick.”

Spagnuolo, who became the Giants’ defensive coordinator following the 2007 season, said he used the experience to prepare him ahead of New York’s Super Bowl XLII victory against the Patriots.

“It wasn’t going to happen in the 2008 Super Bowl,” Spagnuolo said.

The Patriots cheated against the Rams in SB 36. Marshall Faulk said thei installed new plays and somehow when they called the new plays, the Patriots shifted into a perfect coverage. Matt Walsh said he taped the Rams practices and had all that legal crap before he handed over the "tapes". Goodell could not admit that a team cheated in the Super Bowl without completely turning the NFL into WWE or WWF so he destroyed the tapes and said nothing was there. Barry Bonds was a "great" baseball player without steroids but when he was juiced he was amazing. I believe it's the same with he Cheatriots. A great team (wins 2-3 Super Bowls) but with cheating, they win 5-6. The preponderance of the evidence says yes.

Best pure hitter I ever saw....when he was on...it was one swing...and the ball would fly.

You were on that one shitty youth soccer league team everyone hated to play because you would "bend" the rules every chance you got to try and win weren't you? Sportsmanship has no value to you.

The Patriots legacy, especially Belichick's, legacy outside of NE will be spygate and deflate gate....regardless of how many titles they win. Regardless of how many players from those teams end up being in the HOF. Regardless of how many records they set.

Which is why I tell/preach/scream the truth in here train....

You ever hear of Ruby ridge? You watching the story of David Koresh? Whom do you believe?

Is Brady and Belichick in a "bad" place...due to lying/cheating? No...they are heralded as the "greatest" ever...

Spags was always a bright one, obviously they "cheated " , but come on it's sports and stealing signs happens every week .

If our team won 5 Superbowl, I would be fine with people accusing us of "cheating " yea I'm pissed they beat our guys in the Superbowl, but stealing signs is not that serious and if you see it happening MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT

Tell Barry Bonds that. It's absolutely dirty what the MLB is doing to him. But cheating is not a footnote for him. It's a dark cloud hanging over his career despite the fact that he's arguably the best to ever play the game.

"Hey Tom. Looks like our plan to cheat our way to the top is working. I don't think anybody suspects a thing!"
