What free agents LT are you signing?
No silver bullet for our lack of talent as was the case for our 2021 SB team, I was gunning for one but was taken a pick before I could get one and didn't want to reach for a lower end one. I hope we have a solution for this come this off season, just hope we pick up a QB to learn under Stafford a bit before he retires.

Not a fan of the idea we run back out Jackson or a day 3 pick to be honest. It's one of the 2 or 3 most important positions and we haven't addressed it adequately.

At this point it's nearly more important than the QB. Stafford is a hold through next year and if you have to you try and find a replacement going in to 2025.

I believe you were asking sarcastically but I have checked, and do not see a quality Left Tackle scheduled to hit Free Agency.

That's why I think Tackle is a real possibility in the 1st or 2nd round. I don't watch college football during the season but have alreay begun looking at 2024 projected draft prospects.

Of course it's still super early. Some of the following may be Right Tackles only or interior OL.
Olu Fashanu (Penn St. / 6’6” / 317)
Joe Alt (Notre Dame / 6’8” / 322)
Amarius Mims (Georgia / 6’7” / 340)
JC Latham (Alabama / 6’6” / 326)
Jordan Morgan (Arizona / 6’5” / 325)
Graham Barton (Duke / 6’5” / 314)
Kingsley Suamataia (BYU / 6’6” / 325)
Zion Nelson (Miami FL / 6’5” / 316)
Patrick Paul (Houston / 6’7” / 315)
Brandon Coleman (TCU / 6’6” / 320)
Christian Jones (Texas / 6’6” / 321)

If we don't win too many games we might have a shot at Alt. He's not gonna test all crazy in terms of his feet so there will be some question there with him on the blindside, which might make him available for us. And for me I'd draft him and install him at LT because he's big and effective and works hard at his craft.

Guy isn't Pace but we're not gonna get Pace picking mid first. We should, however, get someone who at least has a chance to be able to do that job. As long as there isn't another position option sitting there with a much higher board grade.

Yeah there isn't anything in free agency worth a damn.

Some of that draft list is much more interesting than others and a few have played RT in college. Would love Fashanu, Alt or Paul. Fuaga if they think he can play LT(Latham and Mims likewise are currently RT) and Barton are very intriguing. After that there are some questions but people that can be good. If Fashanu Alt or Fuaga are there for the Rams pick and I wrote the name on the card you'd see a guy sprinting to the podium.

I was too. I didn’t care about leaving time on the clock once the Rams entered the red zone. I wanted the TD. I don’t trust our STs in general, let alone a new kicker.

The play in question was only criticized because it was incomplete.
No it wasn't. It was an empty backfield play. No play action, no fooling the defense. I don't mind the throw, but the playcall empty backfield was dumb.

Yes, I should have mentioned Taliese Fuaga (Oregon St / 6’6” / 334), Cooper Beebe (Kansas St. / 6’4” / 335) and Tyler Guyton (Oklahoma / 6’7” / 328).

Do you remember Alt's father John Alt?

Absolutely remember him. I know a lot will not like Alt because of the TE play in his past but this man is not Jason Smith at all he's a solid LT.

Beebe is another one that's very good at pas blocking but there are some questions about his push in the run game but yeah he's a monster in pass pro.

Guyton is one of the guys I looked at for maybe 3rd round like Beebe but not sure he will work out. Seems more like a guy destined to be a higher drafted swing tackle.

I just wanted to revisit this thread to remind everybody while we are happy about our victory yesterday, we should be sensitive to the pain being felt Seahawks fans today. Go easy on them.

Rams fans showed up and showed out at Sofi yesterday.
Best believe I was talking my shit to Shitchickens fans after the game. It was an emotional roller coaster of a game. But GREAT to get that W. If only we had one versus Pitt and GB things would be a lot more interesting. Playcalling still suspect.

I’m not either but sometimes you have to roll with the punches. We had a complete team minus Vonn Miller in 2021 that took us to a SB with our Achilles heel.

Last year and the year before more than a few LT’s got moved or traded. Plus Matt Galcaves tore his ACL in this year otherwise he projected to be a top 1-2 round LT e/ experience at RT. Same with the LT out of AZ in 2022. Going to be some interesting late round prospects out there.

Also considering we have a good amount of cap next year it’s feasible. Maybe land a Whitworth type of player to a team wants to move on from. It’s interesting to see what happens this next offseason with cap!

Overall I’m over Jackson and Boom getting hurt every other play or game.

And our QB will definitely be getting punched.

I get your logic, but damn, I hate the 49ers. I always want them to lose no matter what.
It cringes me to say it, but the 49ers would help us more by winning. Its gonna be hard to root for them. I don't know if I can.
