On the Kendrick’s thing? I get it,but in HINDSIGHT get The F’”””
Over IT!!
That Tampa Bay PI was sort of BS IMO. Williams had a BS call against Tennessee(Bills @ Bills?) as well last season?

My point with him is 1 thing(a couple) he is a RAM & he is a ROOKIE who was starting.

I’ll just leave it there.IMO he is going to be 100% better next season. He is into the game. He ran with Durant on that pick 6 that was sort of funny. lol

Just for more LOL’s here is for everyone that hates & wants him cut LMFAO
BTW- dude has some growth to do. I’ll say that. Why he got away with how he acted is another issue. The Hags picked on him more than the video shows.
—add this might of led to his benching, besides Durant being ready to go.

Evans was in the last year of his rookie contract. Made sense they cut him now since he wasn't in their future plans. I'm guessing they went as far as they did with him because they were hoping the proverbial light would go on at some point. It never did.

As far as Kendrick, he's a rookie. Got burned a few times. But that position is always tough for rookies. Opposing QB's tend to target them more. Throw different looks at him. Only the special type players respond with that. Give him time to see if he can be a nice rotational player. He got some experience. We'll see if that helps him next year.

I despise Kendrick ever since seeing his totally weak effort to tackle Travis Kelce, letting Kelce score a TD for Kansas City. Kendrick literally turned his back and just bounced off Kelce. Should have benched him instantly for that.
Several of us have big problems with this young kid being inserted in this defense over other CB's who need to provide some good tape before the season concludes. I just do not like what I have seen thus far ....might it be a lack of heart?

He is our youngest corner so there's that.....:not:

I found a repaly of the Kelce TD in this short clip. Kelce gives commentary in this clip and actually says about Kendricks, "He didn't even try and tackle me!" (this quote is towards the end of the clip)

Agreed. And I'll add that if our previously drafted corners like Long and Rochell were good at their jobs Kendrick would not have been thrown in there right away. He has a serious speed deficiency but excellent instincts and hands. So it would have been nice for him to sit on the depth chart and work his way into the nickel depth job vice getting thrown out there outside the hash.

That one straight pissed me off. About as much as his recent effort with the sideline pass late. But he's a rook and should be in the slot, or more accurately should be a depth slot corner.

I would sure like Snead to draft two more corners in March again. The same rounds as in 2021 would be fine with me.

I wonder if the never utilized corner sitting on the lower cabinet shelf Robert Rochell ......being over 6-2/200lbs & with speed to burn could be converted to a free/deep safety? It is obvious to me that he will not see the field as a corner unless the game is just about over.

About damn time.

Don’t know why he couldn’t put it together, but we waited on him long enough and then some.

Dumb question, but if someone DID claim Bobby Evans (LOL <- That made me laugh), Would the Rams be eligible for a comp pick?

Not a dumb question but No.

Comp picks are based on a formula for free agents lost and free agents signed.

I think that Kelce clip is not showing what you think it's showing. Yes, Kendrick looks like a chump on the tackle, but the reason is he was duped into thinking Kelce was about to pitch it to the other guy (Kelce even says it in the video). You can see Kendrick hesitate, then lose the angle when he realized he didn't pitch it.

This happens all the time for edge guys when QBs do this, but nobody complains about their tackling. They just remark what a great job by the guy with the ball.

Not defending Kendrick entirely, just pointing out my take on this play.

I don't condemn any player on one play. But I think he in particular doesn't have a lot of room for error due to his lack of speed. So he's going to need to be the guy who still sticks his head in there. Doesn't feel like he's been giving top effort at times, but over time all that will weight out.

It would be a bad look for the OL should Evans be on the Rams roster next year.
I am also interested in how hard Evans worked off season to fine tune his shape and skill. He always looked out of shape and seemed to regress over the years.

Love it !! Nice EVAL Merlin!!

I understand how everyone wanted to see Durant get his chance. I think you both the 2 players as 1 & you get the perfect CB.

Went to training camp.Heard a EVAL from Mcvay early on on Kendrick which was the same thing I was watching. He has a lot of positives on his side by his size & skill set.I like the way he found a way to be the guy & get into the starting lineup ahead of some of the veteran CB’s as a rookie.
I think his upside is way BETTER than his downside.Don’t understand all the HATE & CUT post?I do get at times he didn’t play well & agree speed at CB could be his biggest problem.

Sure maybe, but tell some Ram players that.

My question that seems to be avoided & not thought of. It’s easy for Ram Fans to get down on a player.I try to keep an open mind & give players at least a little deserving Proos as Rams!!

Bobby Evans got cut & probably should have maybe even last season. He worked his way in & out of the lineup as a reserve.
He started at guard over Noteboom which showed me how BAD Joe is at GUARD.

My autistic a player drafted after Bobby Evans. Has been a starter since his rookie season at guard. Helped The Rams win a Superbowl as a starter. Then starts at RG again & gets hurt. Has that Badger thing going on & input on the Bruss drafting.

Now he is going to be a FA & no one wants to give him any kind of credit or want him back after this long 2022 season.

David Edwards deserves a little ovation for at least his time as a 5th rd draft pick who has been a main stay & starter since 2019.

I just feel like some other posters that he should not be a boundary CB. His lack of speed affects him playing that position.

I see him as a Slot or Dime CB.
