I wouldn't go anywhere near what Hudson got, but Wiskiewski is pretty much our only choice if we go C in Free Agency.

I'm not a big free agent guy. I do like the fact he is young and should have his best football ahead of him. Also like that he has only missed 3 games in his career. The Bears and Broncos have also been linked to him. If we get him we will have to overpay.

Me either.
He will if we can't get Wis, or we might find out if Saffold can play Center. My preference would be Wis, but not if he handicaps us.

Not that I don't agree with you guys, but if it's not there, it's not there.

I think a healthy, Rhaney, gets a real shot.
A shot to make the roster, but I wouldn't bet on it. More likely a practice squad candidate. It's gonna be a tough transition from after only playing C for one year at Tennessee State and coming off an injury. I hope you didn't mean a shot to start lol.

I'd love to have a solid C to buttress next to Blalock and would give us some area to move around with RT and draft for QB.

So far, the only starting prospect at Center that I like is Cam Erving, other than some Guards that can be converted.

Well, there is always Brian De La Puente too...Let's hope it's Wisniewski...Fisher loves bloodlines.

I always thought that Mike Tice was a decent OLine coach. It's hard to believe that he saw tape of Wisniewski and backed the idea of perhaps making Hudson the highest paid Center in the NFL.

BTW, I used to post on a Raiders board last year and it seemed that many of the posters thought Wisniewski might be better off playing guard. Said he was far better there than he had been at center.

I like B.J. Finney too!

Wisniewski is pretty average at Center. Raiders have a crazy amount of cap space...might as well use it to get the best OL on the market.

If hes average we don't want him. Was he average because he's average or because of what he was surrounded with? Also do you you think Bou can work his magic with him and make him better?
