I don't feel bad for them, it is a competitive business and they are compensated based on performance. Players making the vet minimum should be set for life after a few years if they know how to manage their money. I know when I was working I never made that kind of money and what I did benefited society a lot more than what these guys do, which is to provide a form of entertainment.
