1. He is a Pro Football Hall of Famer and knows more about football than you, me, and everybody else combined in this thread about football.
2. He's a Rams fan just like any of us are here on ROD and has a right to his opinion. So what if he's famous.

The truth is Sean Mannion probably should have started last season and Case Keemun should have been the third stringer. Eric was right about that. Why is that? Because Fisher was trying to earn more years by delaying and hurting Goff by not getting him up to speed in the off/preseason etc. is my guess.

This season no way Mannion should be nothing but a backup but last year Eric was right about it. He's also analytical and has intimate knowledge about Goff and the team unlike the national media pundits who don't know shit about them.

Tired of all the Eric hate here, get over it just because he doesn't rave about the team, especially when he points out serious questions and issues going on.

I'm "that Rams fan" that was a bigger fan of Wentz, and still has love for Bradford. But I will admit I'm super impressed with Goffs accuracy and strength when he has time to throw. I'm super excited to see what he can do with this system. In Goff/McVay I trust.

The thing is, is that Goff didn't play not to lose and protect the ball. He chucked it down field.
I'm not sure if there is a QB this weekend that had more 20 yard plays than Goff.
