Liram and MacGinnis are developmental kickers
And Z as a rookie hit 74% of his FG (Sloman is at 75%) and only 55% of kickoffs for TB. Sloman at 64%
And Z kicked in a dome.
And Z hit 84% of his FG in college, not 95%. In Division II when Sloman played higher competition in D1
Lol Sloman isn't good. GZ was 74% for the year but that's ridiculous to compare his 16 game average to Sloman's 6 game average. GZ hadn't missed any of his first 13 field goals and set the record for consecutive for a rookie kicker.

Good to see you posting @jakebogen95 enjoy everything you do, well, special teams coach John Bonamego has a history of trying to get a rookie kicker going, happened in Detroit too with Nate Freese, but the Lions replaced him eventually with veteran Matt Practer and that has worked out just fine.

Thanks den! Yeah, I try to post but I'm insanely busy especially with my move coming up here in March. Appreciate the kind words!

Sloman sucked. Plain and simple. I'm glad the team gave him a legit chance, more time than many thought necessary, but yeah it was GTFO time
Zuerlein was our bright spot in an otherwise dark era. He was a bit enigmatic though, had some head scratching moments. As rookies though, no comparison. With Z, and the potential of his leg, we watched him kick with great anticipation, Sloman (and this coming from one of his biggest supporters) we watched in utter fear... Lol
That era is over, on to Kai and we can all be on the same page in hoping he does great and for the most part expecting him to be successful

The Tennessee Titans have added another kicker after signing Sam Sloman to their practice squad. The news comes from Sloman’s agency, JL Sports, which tweeted out a congratulations to the kicker.

Sloman recently visited the Titans last week, and before that he had a workout with the team earlier in the month. He is now one of two kickers Tennessee has on its practice squad, along with Giorgio Tavecchio.

Sloman, who was a 2020 seventh-round pick, played in seven games for the Los Angeles Rams this season before being waived and made 8-of-11 field goal tries and 18-of-21 extra point attempts.

He was 2-for-3 from 20-29 yards, 5-for-5 from 30-39 yards, 1-for-2 from 40-49 yards and 0-for-1 from 50-59 yards. Sloman’s longest make of the season came from 42 yards out.

The Titans will continue to have an insurance policy (or two) on hand just in case veteran kicker Stephen Gostkowski self-destructs once again.

Gostkowski made all three of his field goal attempts in Week 11, but entered the contest against the Baltimore Ravens with eight misses on the season, the most in the NFL.

The Titans will look to win back-to-back games when they take on the Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday in Week 12.

Gotskowski is straight shit this year. Best of luck to Sam unless we play them in the SB.
