I think Philly is dangerous. I think we could be dangerous as well. I think McVay called today’s game a playoff game in order to ease the team into that playoff mindset. We have little PO experience.

For the NFC
I like Eagles to upset the Bears and
The Cowboys beat the ‘Hawks in Dallas
Rams beat the Cowboys in LA
Eagles best the Saints in the big sleazy by playing tough D
Rams advance to SB as they best the Eagles in our house.

I think we play the Ravens (yep I said it) in the SB as crazy as that sounds. We win of course. Yep I know. Just my first thoughts.

I think ANYTHING can happen in the NFC Playoffs but I THINK:

Bears beat Eagles
Cowboys beat Seahawks

Rams beat Bears
Saints beat Cowboys

Rams beat Saints (OK - I am a Homer!)!

Rams beat Chiefs in Super Bowl

I see, so your MO is that you don't like to put anything out there but like to point out others' mistakes.

Not at all. A prediction isn't a mistake. Only bad ones like Reggie Bush picking the whiners to beat the rams.

As long as we dont show what we showed against the Bears first time around. We will be good....Assuming this was why we played poorly against the bears first time around...

CJ doesn’t have TG’s speed by any stretch but he runs low and seems to bounce off guys between the tackles. The bears are hard to run outside on so maybe attacking up the middle is the way to go.
Put some drives together, don’t turn it over and don’t be afraid to kick fg’s and play field position and the Rams win.

Man why do we have to play the fucking bears and that defense. How do we run against that front?

Man why do we have to play the freaking bears and that defense. How do we run against that front?

The rams three options in the divisional round are the bears, the cowboys or the seafucks. All pretty much have the same philosophy, run the ball and play strong defense. It will be difficult no matter who they play.

I don't know what's going to happen in the playoffs, I really don't. Thus I have no prediction.
I can say this however:

I'm worried sick that our defense is going to be a problem.
We just let Mullens and the 49ers put up 32 points. (yeah, someone's gonna say, but our backups were in at the end)

Even so, the scoreboard showed 32 points for the 49ers today. Points are points.
Do we really think the Bears will let us score more than 32 points?

Our run (and pass) defense is bad. It's just the truth. It's probably going to be our downfall 2 or 3 weeks from now.
But if somehow we make it to the big dance, it will be glorious!!!

OK. Fire away.

That works. I really like Romo's commentary, think he provides maybe more insight into the game than anyone. (Like Aikman too, but he's stuck with Joe Buck and isn't quite as entertaining.)

Yea they're probably the best crew of the big ones. I don't mind Buck/Aikman just because I've grown up with their voices at this point lol.

I grew up listening to Jack Buck doing St. Louis Cardinals baseball in the 50's and 60's. He was really sharp in his knowledge of the game and balanced in tone. Joe is trying to emulate his Dad but can't quite pull it off. Way too heavy handed and his tone can sometimes veer toward self importance even though what he says is ok.

Romo and Nance are sooooooo booooooring! Snooze-fest listening to those two. Someone needs to tell Nance it's football, not golf. And Romo...getting bored with the guess the play thing. It was cute for a game or two, but just getting annoying.

I hope the Chargers take out the Ravens. I wouldn't want the Rams to have to play a running QB that hasn't had his first ACL yet. Lamar Jackson would be like that old Rams/ Falcons matchup when Vick helped put 300 yards rushing on the Rams D.

Running up the middle is the best way to attack the 46 defense.

I don't understand your logic here. 32 points, isn't 32 points. The players that gave up points late, won't be on the field in the playoffs. Plus once the Rams started racking up points they weren't playing as aggressively on defense. This Niner team did beat the Seahawks recently. The Rams defense caused three turnovers on the first three Niners drives. That's the defense to expect in the playoffs. Don't expect the defense that was content to let San Francisco eat up clock on longer drives, when they're up by 20 points.

For round 2, I predict a few of these seats for the Rams game don't sell.

I see many are worried that the Rams might play Chicago in the Div round but please look at their home and away splits. The Bears are dominating at home but on the road they are avg at best! Last week they almost lost, and should have, to the same 49ers the Rams just mollystomped! If this game does happen I love the Rams chances. Anything can happen but playing the Bears at home will make all the difference I believe.
