Much the same as you guys, the Fletcher/Green/Warner group is probably the top 3 for me. As for trading, Bettis hurt my heart. He was my guy back then and still sport his jersey. What hurt even more about that was that we used the 6th overall pick to replace him and we all know how that went.

Wendell Tyler too! And Ike Bruce along with Tory Holt should have never worn a different uniform.
Isaac in a 9ers uniform should never have happened, I was just sick about it and he was still very effective, unlike the invisible Mr Bennett who Linehan coveted to replace him.

That's the one that gets me. I don't know how HE allowed that to happen? WTF?

He wasn’t only a FA, he was cut after he had restructured and took a pay cut
That’s why guys like him, Sjax and Warner deserve a thread of their own. Different category.

Agree 100%......the only I could see was Wendell. I loved Wendell but between some bad fumbles and injuries (injured every other year for the team and only played six total games for the 1978 and 1980 seasons combined). But man he was a heck of a runner put his heart into every run.

In that same interview, Farr asked London about his favorite play over his career. After giving D'Farr some shyte for not warning him of the question in advance when thinking over his long career, he mentioned the TACKLE by Mike Jones as he covered Eddie George (hoping to God McNair didn't run it in himself). But then he drilled down and remembered when Kurt was QB for the Cardinals and he was a LBer for the Redskins, he caught and Pick Sixed a Kurt throw.

"Ask him about it, he still remembers..." lol. Nothing like getting over on a friend! @CGI_Ram

That’s a good one. He had a nice career after leaving the Rams. I forget he played 4 seasons for us.
We thought he was done for, with all of those concussions he sustained. I worry about him with CTE....

I think recently losing John Johnson III has hurt us a lot. Morris scheme is bad, but he was the leader of this elite secondary and I think we're missing his leadership and quality of play.

its hard to think of many...

because to be blunt for the greater part of the last 3.5 decades the team sucked so much that 95% of the players no one gave a shit if they left.

Greene and Bettis going to Pittsburgh was rough.
It really pissed me off.
Having to watch them both have HOF carriers for the Steelers stung like hell.
Meanwhile, we can win a game.

Letting Fletcher walk set us back for years, on our defense.
Thinking we could just replace him in the draft was a huge mistake.
