McVay is a full on obvious keeper. He's very important to us winning now and in the future. Extremely glad to have him as the Rams coach. So here's a hilarious question to help us digest just how important it is to have a great head coach.

Would you let Jeff Fisher come back as our head coach next year (McVay goes elsewhere) if included was that we literally got to take the first 10 picks in the 2018 draft? Picks 1-10 just for the Rams, and the other teams had to wait until pick 11 to get started.

First 10 picks all become Ram players, all you have to do is re-hire Jeff Fisher as our head coach. Cannot fire Jeff for at least 3 years.

Imagine the extreme talent having all of the first 10 picks would be. What say you?

:D

Yes. I would do it.
Then I would fire Fisher again and hire McVay back, no matter what it takes..giving him full control and a 49% share of the team...

They're not every day.
But if you must know it takes 17 seconds.

What happened? I think I passed out reading the headline....Ok....got it.....wait,hold on.....wow that lasagna barely looks digested. ..so where were we...oh yeah, would have to keep Olsen and lefluer and would probably trade several picks for future picks because where would we fit 10 new guys over the next couple years. Would also have to be careful about breaking the chemistry we continue to build upon......oh god, hold on....there goes the cream brulee...my eyes are watering now....I cant continue.

I bet when you go to the dentist you say:
"Torture by mouth tools ... rather read BriansRams hypotheticals."

Grass is always greener...

On a side note, forget about Fisher in the scenario.

Now I'm kind of wondering.
WHAT IF a team somehow did have the first 10 picks in a draft?

Wouldn't the chances of becoming absolutely great within 2 years be very high?
How could you fail? If you wanted to, you could pick an entire defense of starters in each position.
Or offense.

In a perfect world Fisher is hired to replace Wade Davis after final season playing at Coliseum

Actually, no. See: Cleveland Browns.

That depends on who's evaluating the talent. Plus, you'd fail for the first year maybe year and a half. Then you could be pretty good. The first year they would still be rookies.

Let's say that Les Snead is evaluating the talent.

HELL NO!!!

Just look at the 2011 draft.

Some drafts look good and bust. Others look mediocre and become flush later.

Plus, Fisher never put together the winning culture, so those 10 picks wouldn't be maximized.

Can't say no to that strongly enough.
