Oh crap....I was expect you, @den-the-coach , @OldSchool ....or somebody to have something on this guy....All I've read is he ran a 4.41 during his draft year...not sure if that was a pro-day or combine. Trust in son-of-bum....

Going crazy here in Upstate, NY....24 inches of the white stuff and involved in closing down our training center so this is what I have and he was great in that show with Alex Karras too.

Champ, the 4.41 was his second attempt at the combine, it was the unofficial time and later matched with the "official" time. His first unofficial attempt at the combine was a blistering 4.35. Guy didn't start playing DB until his 1st year in college-----he was a linebacker in HS which probably developed his tackling and aggressiveness. The way he performed on Denver's ST really showed how much he wanted to get on the field-----became a Captain no less. Really think we got one with this signing.
I would like to keep Tru but not at 16.7 mil; hopefully we work out a long term deal or get a 2nd this year for him.

I will certainly wait and see when he is in a Rams uni.

But just from watching "highlights" this guy has some very nice technique. Although there are sometimes I see him do things that I know would be a flag in Ram jersey.

Some of the good things I see are: solid route recognition, attacks the ball, on deep routes he covers the guy and then squeezes that space using the sideline, he hits, he has solid tackling technique.

What Broncos fans are saying about losing Kayvon Webster:

http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?t=126387

Good for him Wade Phillips knows.
-----------
Good for him. Good luck, Kayvon.
----------
Good luck to him but I wonder if he gets any bigger opportunity in LA.

Besides losing that is.
----------
Good for him, stinks for us. Good player, valuable on SP, nice depth. We have too many good corners. I would have said Talib would be gone at the end of the year but then he turned in the kind of season he did.
-----------
Sucks, I really liked him, thought he showed some talent. Enough to be a 4th CB and ST stud, while challenging for 3rd DB on the depth chart at times.

Dude was amazing in the playoffs on ST's during the SB50 run.
----------
Good for him. The draft is extremely deep at DB. I suspect we will add a CB and a S. The safety class in particular is too good to pass up.
-----------
You have to appreciate a guy who sacrifices his body on special teams. Of course, guys just have to do it, if they want to make the roster. But there are some guys who just go all in. He was one of those guys.
-----------
Good for him. Kid deserves a chance to be a 3rd or 4th CB in the league.

Good draft to find a CB in the 4th or 5th round.
-----------
Good spot for Kayvon, the Rams need CB's and Wade knows him well.
-----------
Good for him! He brought it on special teams. Love to see a grinder get rewarded.
----------
He was a great ST player. Wish him the best.
----------
Nothing but love for Kayvon and wish him the best. He put it on the line here and hopefully he gets a chance to start under a DC who knows him.
-----------
Man sucks to see him go. Many other people would have let go long before him but I trust in Elway so GOOD luck thanks for SP teams play in the SB
-----------
If you've read his twitter, he's RT'd a ton of tweets about wanting to play more.

Good for him, i was impressed with Doss in his spot duty.

Kayvon was a monster on ST's, and pretty good in limited time at CB. We'll miss him.
----------
I hope Kayvon got paid and I wish him the best!
-----------
He deserves a chance to start. The Broncos are just too loaded at DB. Great ST's player and I feel he's going to be a great corner for the Rams.
-----------
Yep, good ol' Kayvon. Bet he can find a plethora of cheap nail shops for his pregame pedicures in L.A.

Quickly followed this guy up on Snapchat after the signing. And I'm already impressed! He signed with us, and flew home. Shortly after his plane landed he was out working out on speed and quickness training. Mind you this was a little past Midnight according to the time stamp.

I sure wish we signed Jenkins to a long term deal. Jenkins Joyner and Webster sounds better than it would with Tru in this system

This is an excellent highlight reel -- lots of PBU's. Stays in the WR's pocket, doesn't get easily fooled by head fakes, knows the WR's route tree -- shows he watches film. ST ace to replace Reynolds. So much to like with this pick up.

Heck yeah-- this guy fits The Rams like a glove. He will get the Defense out of 3rd downs.

He also allows The Rams to pick best available in draft. His skill level on timing of the ball is great.

I think with the cap rollover, the NLTBE vs. LTBE distinction became much less important.(as I recall)
