I was curious about the rushing totals.

Wentz
Attp 144
Yds 542
Ave 3.8
Fum 9
TD 2

Goff
Attp 79
Yds 175
Ave 2.2
Fum 3
TD 4

Wentz has the run dimension to game which is a plus and minus. His running ability and escapability in the pocket help create some big plays that can wear down a defense. It's not something you can put a number on but, it's an advatage for Wentz. He does fumble more. It also gets him hurt and unable to play. Hard to believe Goff has more rushing TDs.

Before the draft I was a Goff guy because I thought he threw the ball better and had better footwork. At this point Wentz has a lot of question marks about his ability to stay on the field. I think Goff can keep getting better.

Goff, at 24, is also two full years younger than the 26 year old Wentz.

I just hope that when the Rams make Goff the richest QB ever, they sign him for like 7 or 8 years.
Surround Goff with a quality OL and some playmakers, he'll take us where we want to go ...

He had BETTER not try and become the richest QB ever. That will take us down the road to the Seahawks.
He needs to take a q from Brady, the best ever. Well, he is not THAT good. He as much as said lately the reason he takes less that the rest. He likes to be surrounded by good players too.
If he takes money like Brady and publicly says "my teammates need money too" they will l LOVE him. Just bend over backwards not to let him down.
And stop it with the Brady's wife's money thing. 20 mil is stupid money. He is a normal guy and I hope a very smart guy too. Take less but get it all guaranteed and for a long time. Be a winner Jared. Be the best ever. How much do you want it.

I so wish that last part was true but I don't think Sean is going to stick to coaching as long as we all hope. He's even openly said it in interviews
Link? Not that I don’t believe you, just never heard him talk about it.

IIRC, Wentz was considered more NFL ready while Goff was projected to need more time for the transition. Goff is 24 and still learning. I expect him to be better as more time goes. McVay too. I also remember people saying Goff was too skinny and would never make it a full season in the NFL. Seems the kid is tougher than he looks.

How much has Kromer's OL helped the pocket passer Goff since the beginning of 2017?

The Eagles OL has had some major injuries the last two seasons & they do not have a Gurley.

Running QB's sell tickets & make great plays & excite the Sports Talkers & Writers ......while they remain healthy.......usually not for long.

Honestly Goff’s rushing stats aren’t bad like I thought they’d be! I’m impressed!

Goff is younger and more durable - they're really not even comparable anymore. Wouldn't trade Goff for him in any plausible scenario.

Who would I choose? Mr. "b"
below

I reduce all the 'stats' to these:
a) (career rating 92.5) Postseason record 0-0 Super Bowl record 0-0

b) (career rating 94.7) Postseason record 2-2 Super Bowl record 0-1

---------------------------------------------------------

Who is the better NFL player? Probably "a"....but injuries and bad decision making in 2018 make it very easy
to pick JG. Let's not forget, Wentz was an mvp until the torn acl....and his injuries are why I pick Goff

Both have done really well and been very good. I asked the question once, has 2 QB's ever gone 1 and 2 that both had great careers and won a SB?

As of now the winner is Goff......not because he is better, but because he stays healthy. If you finish every year on the DL then your not exactly helping.

Fine so when the time comes make him an Executive VP and have him hire the next Sean McVay....Second Verse Same as the First!

2 very good young QB's.

Goff just needs to keep doing what he's doing and show that he keeps improving to be even better.
Wentz needs to take care of his body and stay healthy. Seems he's always getting hurt.
