Only wa y to do that is refund all tickets and season tix. That would be a clear sign that we are tanking the season, which would have ramifications in Vegas and probably competing teams......

Don't think Stan would do that....
Haha, well no owner is every doing that.....Im pretty they wouldn't even be allowed to .
Im sure you're not serious.....injuries are part of the game.
Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you get destroyed...
The injury issues started last season however.

I think they will mine the FA list of OGs and PS of all the other teams. But with that in mind do they go for marginal players that are veterans or young players with limited or no experience but with potential long term upsides.

Just briefly looking at the FA lists for young guys with upside potential:

Jack Snyder was in TC this year. At least he's a known quantity and the Rams seem to favor that. He's strictly an OG with a reputation of being a solid pass protector. He's got average physical traits, but his movement skills are smooth but raw, i.e. should improve with experience. Offers a long-term decent backup potential.

Braylon Jones UDFA Cowboys 2021- a bit undersized in terms of height but has decent arm length. Seemed a bit overwhelmed mentally during the Cowboys TC (not uncommon with rookie UDFAs). But he offers some decent long term upsides. At this point he's more of a pass blocker than run blocker. His film shows good field awareness and vision the lack of which is exactly the problem with Evans.

Both of these guys are examples of young UDFA types of players available. There is nothing in their performance that isn't correctable with good coaching. That said I think given the circumstances, i.e. they will have to play immediately, I think it's more likely that the Rams raid the PS of other teams for OL.

IMO trotting out Aboushi and Kolone is a bad option, i.e. been there done that.

FFS someone tell me this is all a bad dream.

If Shelton has to slide over to take Brewer's spot at RG... and there's an opening at LG... aw hell, I'm not gonna even say it.

And even worse-- I thought Alaric was our silver lining to this year-- a competent (and CHEAP!) viable option at LT. If his entire career is in jeopardy....

What happened to the Golden Age of the Rams?

Yeah, we got the SB last year, but holy cow our luck has turned....

WTH?? I have nrver heard of an athlete getting blood clots.... though I know they can occur in anyone... I suspect the majority of these are in older and less athletic people.
Maybe I lead a sheltered life, but this is an insane year for folks being injured.
Jack Youngblood had a blood clot under his arm at a very young age while playing for the Rams

An astronomically minimal possibility is still a possibility.

I'm not saying that's it at all. For some reason I feel like I heard about something like this when he played for us at Iowa. But I can't find anything on it!
Still a probable problem from people in Iowa. Maybe from all the injections of the cows that make them mad? Clots the mind & puts it in the back of the steers. Genetically almost like Texas Cows. The old saying of I don’t see any horns. Makes into a softy especially if it gets into your veins.

Yeah & Brewer can’t think he is all that tough playing through an injury. Jack played with a broken leg.

I seriously doubt that. And I'm pretty sure he's from Canada and lived in Iowa only during his playing career.

The injuries to our OL are reaching historic proportions.

How can we even evaluate some of the young guys (Tutu, McCutcheon, Kyren Williams, etc) if our OL isn't even functional?

Sheesh *#%&@$*^#

Good point.

Crazy bad luck season for sure.

Still, making lemonade out of lemons, I'd let Tutu, patchwork OL, and Perkins play. Rolling out Perkins, letting him run ala UCLA's DTR can't look worse than their current offense anyway and will hopefully have Stafford fresh for next season.

Hell, the conspiracy theorist in me says THAT'S what this concussion is all about, since McVay watches tape every day and doesn't want to put his QB in harm's way...
