He's really bought in. I just wish he was a couple years younger. I think the most we can sign him to is a 2 or 3 year deal and it has to be a team friendly deal.

Also, I love it when he brings up the Packers Suh's face lights up with a smile. He's truly passionate

Wanna bet Donald leads the cheer for Suh and demands the Rams extend him a long time?

I love the idea of keeping Suh! But not at the cost of bringing in an edge rusher. Perfect scenario would be to sign Suh and draft a guy who steps in on the edge right away or someone from the current roster becomes that edge presence.

Suh stays, Brockers would likely have to go. Is that what we want?
I'm not sure

I like Suh but don’t see it. I see a few young really talented guys coming in via the draft and FA.

I don't think Suh will play up to his next contract. Some team will overpay him. Rams will have some challenges next year with the defense. I would like to keep him but, his cost probably won't fit in with the Rams cap.

Absolutely not. This draft is LOADED with big guys who can move. Thanks for coming in and hopefully winning a Super Bowl with us Mr. Suh and good luck to you in the future.

My guess is he stays based on where he is in his career. He's made a TON of money and by all accounts is very smart and business savvy off the field. I would guess money wont be his primary motivator, and being in LA with this team and coach might have opened his eyes. He's never been part of something like this and if he feels he has 2 or 3 dominant years left, why not try to win a title over all else?

Don't forget part of what makes elite players elite, is their competitiveness. He wants to win bad and I think him and AD are getting along better than he thought. It must be refreshing to have someone as dominant as AD that has no ego and is a super chill dude.

Suh's also a guy who's KEENLY aware what that ring will mean post-career.

Multiple rings take one to the elite of the elite levels and can create a significant multiplier effect on post-career earnings.

Win a couple/three rings in short order (like the Cowboys winning 3 in 4 years) and have even one tech investing success and he'll be on track to be someone who legit moves in the Warren Buffett crowd, which is his goal.

Wouldn't surprise me at all for Suh to stay, especially depending on where the offers come. There's no way he wants to take $15/yr to get his brains beat out in Buffalo or SF or Oakland so he can be the highest paid player on a losing team.

You know how in real estate they say to not buy the most expensive house on the street? Well, often, the same can be said about every other position on an NFL roster not QB. He got paid in Miami and it wasn't great.

I don't know what he'll decide to do, but I'd be okay with a fully guaranteed contract for something like 3yrs/$36M.

That gives Suh the stability he would want while giving the Rams some flex. Probably means losing Barron, but honestly, I think Barron's closer to the door than Suh and I loves me some Barron.

This DL is only going to get better as the season goes on.

I think Les Snead and the FO have already worked scenarios where they try to keep Suh.

This isn't like the Mack deal where they legit were trying to trade for him and it was understood to be a 1 year rental.

Dunno what will happen, but I'm so in the mode of celebrating the success and the manner in which it has been achieved this season that looking beyond the Super Bowl (one game at a time) is hard to do.

Donald, Havenstein, Gurley and Cooks cap hits all spike within the next year or two. A Goff extension right around the corner as well.

Rams have to start being economical somewhere.
