There is one movie that those over 55 yeafrs have seen many times. It wasn't because we necessarily wanted to, but it was an annual event in the days before cable and satellite.

The Wizard of Oz

It came on at about the same time every year in the 70's. LA had probably the most channels available which probably amounted to 6 tv channels? It was when kids were so desperate for cartoons, they'd watch Davey and Goliath on Sunday mornings, before the religious programing. Anyway, The Wizard was something all kids knew about and watched because everything else seemed to suck in that timeslot.

This annoys my wife to no end, because I do it all the time. If one of these movies come on, I'm watching it again. Even though I've seen them dozens of times already.

1. Big Lebowski (rarely, if ever, comes on TV)
2. Office Space
3. Goodfellas
4. Braveheart
5. Gladiator
6. Napoleon Dynamite
7. A Knight's Tale
8. A Bronx Tale
9. Breakfast Club

... I should stop now. I apparently watch too much TV
Great freaking list, man. I may not agree with you on politics, but we sure as hell agree on movies.

Of the “movies I can watch a dozen times,” five of your nine make my list:

Goodfellas
Office Space
Big Lebowski
Napoleon Dynamite
Breakfast Club

I’d add Pulp Fiction, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and Blazing Saddles.

I haven’t watched that in a while, but I’ve seen it many times... when you posted it... I thought... “I want to watch that”.

So, that must be one for me. (y)
