A lot of the movies mentioned would make my list.

A few more that are a bit more obscure that I’ve found myself watching frequently on cable over the years:

That Thing You Do
About a Boy
School Ties

Just curious, what makes you laugh?

Not saying there aren’t any funny lines, I just think of it mostly as a drama and a love story.

Off the top of my head, I’d think of, “Gambling in this establishment? I’m shocked, shocked! Round up the usual suspects.”

Office Space...I know that if I run across it while channel surfing, I WILL stop and watch! It's just tickles my funny bone.

But which of these have you watched five times and would get sucked into watching again? Or have you watched that many movies five times already?

Thank you Loyal, I know it belongs on every list! It is every bit as disturbing as Seven:)
That money was excellent and saying the ending was a little different, is an understatement.

Knowing the “special effects” were bad in a movie made in 1942 doesn’t change my opinion of it at all. Casablanca is good because of the story, the dialogue, the acting. Special effects are irrelevant IMHO.
