I’m a year where the Rams are longshots to win the Superbowl due to being in rebuild year..

It would be splendid to see them knock out a 49ers star and foil their chances for a Super Bowl.

So yes, the more Niners starters the more Targets to take down.

Deebo isn’t the coach so who gives a fuck what he says about who is playing and who is resting. If he does play I hope someone cleans his clock early (a la Nick Scott) so we can see his “hide in his shell” routine.
Yeah. He's not as big a problem as he thinks he is, without McCafferey as a distraction.

With the Rams signing a quarterback it sure looks to me like both teams will be sitting starters. It will come down to whose backups are better.

Sounds like they'll play for a while... maybe first half? I'm betting they pull most of their important people by halftime though.

Is it to late to sign Nick Scott to the team again?

What would have otherwise been a very entertaining game with all kinds of tension you fully expect from such a rivalry will be boring as fuck...

I'm ok with that. Would be good to see how Wentz performs in McVay's system for future reference. I don't think sitting out effects veterans all that much like Stafford, AD, or Kupp. For the youngins on the squad I think it's important for them to get reps in this game to stay fresh with important ones being phased out as the first half goes by. Hopefully we'll get a chance to knock their asses out of the playoffs a few weeks later.

Excellent. This makes a ton of sense. Has room to blow up in McVay's face too, though from that aspect he's going to eat criticism no matter what he decides.

If Wentz plays well then you know you're positioned at the most important spot for this playoff run. Might also mean he pulls a Baker Mayfield but I think in total sum it's a positive for us. He's gonna need to have that starting OL, though, for a good chunk of this game. And if they do that then Royce should be able to grind out good yards on the ground in support and hopefully they don't need Williams.

Does McVay go preseason vanilla with the plays? If so, is it really fair to Wentz to be handcuffed in what will essentially be an audition for a future job somewhere? Or would it make him more affordable if the Rams want to bring him back to play behind Stafford?

yeah this was to be expected.

Unless we wanted a loss to the giants so we could attempt to beat up on 49ner back ups.

No reason to go vanilla. Every team knows what the Rams run at this point. In the playoffs it's about execution.
