Sure it may add value to the franchise, but not as much as a deep playoff run. Would it adversely effect a young team? That's the question.

What is good for the NFL and what is good for a particular NFL team are two different questions Motes.
An owner should have the right to either accept or pass...even if all 32 owners were begging Goodell to be chosen(which is not the case anyway).

I'm trying to be subjective here.
(Are the Rams) a good choice for the NFL and television? Absolutely yes. Michael Sam(duh). Les Snead is not afraid of the spotlight. Gregg Williams' history. Fisher and his relationship with his players and the referees. Robert Quinn is a star. The Bradford saga. A few high profile rookies. Kenny Britt trying to break into amateur porn.

But...is it good for the Rams? I say no way, and more importantly, i still don't understand how an owner(Stan Kroenke) doesn't have final veto power in terms of the NFL "squeezing" a team to submit to this tv show. Maybe Kroenke is all for it, i don't know...but if he isn't then the NFL should definitely NOT have the power to force this upon an NFL team.

During a Karraker / Farr segment on 101.1, they stated that Fisher was not adverse to Hard Knocks when asked about it today.

There was a report that the Rams had been eliminated from consideration and that the final 3 teams to be considered were Bears, Giants, and Steelers ... Oh my

All boring as hell but with huge fan bases... But for the record it would be awesome to finally see the Rams on the national stage like that. I would love it

And my answer is no. There's no evidence being on Hard Knocks hurts or helps a team. But there's a ton of evidence that Hard Knocks is good for the NFL.

I'm all for it (and only partly because not being on it hasn't done us any good)...

Kroenke originally agreed to play 3 home games in London saying it was an opportunity to expand the brand. You really think he wouldn't want his team on Hard Knocks?

I agree, Nathan was one of my favorite tv characters of all time. The show just wasn't the same after season 2.
