Also, game ball to Coach Fassel. The special teams were amazing and won us the game.

Yeah that blocked punt for a TD was the difference. And of course the kickoff return was huge early.

Defense really impressed me today too. They gave up that long one, and because the rook S took a bad angle in part, but it's ok when you shut it down the rest of the way. Also saw some key third and short stops that they didn't make vs Seattle. Easier offense in Jax, but still a good outing for the D.

Really that game had a playoff type atmosphere. So I'll cred the offense in avoiding turnovers for the most part, keeping those down vs a very good D was important.

Team win there, no doubt. And a huge one too.

Could have been 5-1. But I’ll take 4-2 for now.

5-1? We could easily be 6-0. However, when you have young teams, the young 'uns are gonna make mistakes. We should start showing some real maturation by the second half of the season.

Wasn't the prettiest but damn it feels good to be a young team being 3-0 on the road!

That was the type of game I hoped for.

After some early runs, the defense clamped down real tight.

This was a game to run Gurley a lot. Goff made a few key throws to keep the clock moving.

We could have put the game away if we took a few more shots but the smart thing was to force Bortles to beat you. And he couldn’t.

Ugly but smart. Great time for special teams to score TD’s.

First time since 06 we're 4-2, enjoying this feeling.

Plus I went to a beer a tater tot festival and got super day drunk.
I thought this said “super gay drunk” and now I’m wondering why my mind is thinking like that. Sober.

We should of won last week and probably should of lost this week. Good teams find a way to win these kind of games

I said something similar to my wife. This win feels good because it didn’t feel like our best day (obviously it wasn’t... but after last week we got the W).

Also McVay out coached Marrone. Some real head scratchers there. Why would you let the clock wind down in the 2nd half? U have more timeouts.
Why bring out your kicker for a 53 yd attempt when you had over one minute left? Just strange. Thank goodness we don't need to worry about that anymore!

Hmm. Maybe he thought he'd have a shorter field to work with for the TD they needed after the onside kick.

No serious injuries I'm aware of.

Strong effort from the Defense after a scary start.

Extra laps for Quinn, who had offside and personal foul penalties, and Walker who lined up over center during a FG attempt, which was missed, and gave the Jags another chance, which they converted.

Red vultures looked formidable taking apart Tampa Bay.

I hate to look ahead, but if we can pull a W out in London, we go into the bye at 5-2. If we beat the hapless Giants, that puts us at 6-2 heading into the second half of the year. That would be amazing. We'd be in great position to make the playoffs. I know that's a ways away, but this might finally be the year that we snap all of those awful streaks (no winning seasons since 2003, no playoffs since 2004, and no .500 record since 2006)!!!!!!!!

One more celebratory musing: Can we stop fumbling and muffing punts? Let's dedicate some time to ball security! :)

Extra laps for the punt returners as well, until they figure out how to catch'em. Could have cost us big today.
