Oh goody! Yet another thread filled with pissing and moaning then asking for tolerance. If you haven't figured it out by now continually bringing this garbage up and starting arguments and debates while throwing mud at the other city isn't getting anybody anywhere. It's also not helping you anybody to move beyond relocation. If you really want to just piss and moan about the past I'm sure there are many sites that welcome it. In fact try this one

www.reddit.com/r/stlouisrams

Have a field day you'll earn all kinds of upvotes in there. The rest of us would really like to enjoy our Rams team without your childishness.

Totally get it and I don't want anything to get worse.
My motivations are to remind LA fans to have and/or continue to have patience towards us STL guys and remember our legacy, too.
Plenty has been said about them coming home, it doesn't cross anyone's mind that for people like my 17 year old daughter, the Rams ran away from home and broke our hearts. Our memories, all those camps we attended, the losses, the wins, Bruce, Torry and Orlando. Kurt and Marshall. The SB win. The SB loss. History. Hearts broken.

But we can't purchase season tickets. We "stole" them. They are "home" now. I'm seeing our history be erased by our fan base. Here, no. But it's not the old timers who make the most noise, it's young tools from socal who post ignorant comments in every FB thread, as if getting the team was a "win" like it's LA Vs STL.
St Louis sucks.
LA is Awesome.
The Midwest is boring.
Socal is exciting.
STL didn't care
LA already loves them!!!

These things accumulate and cause bitterness.
Plus when the rams left la there was always the hope that they would come back. We know in st louis that they will never ever come back, they are gone forever. We also had to deal with taunts for years from the bring back the rams crowd. We are trying though and hopefully the season starting will make it easier.

@badnews Yeah that sort of treatment and response is B.S and insensitive. I don't really use any other social media sources for RAM info just to stay away from that kind of crap. I assure you that is not at all indicative of the L.A I know and live we are mostly laid back compassionate and very receptive of diversity but there are always exceptions. I personally have season tickets and can't go to all the games if my ROD brothers from St Louis are truly interested I may be able to help. great talk badnews and remember most of us completely understand your position.

Back to football though-

It sounds like Goff is competing, and at this point, that's all I am looking for.
I'm still firmly convinced that he will be great.
The Mike Thomas and Higbee reports are making me wish I could hope a flight and catch a practice!!!
I love this team and this board and all you guys who make it great.

Man, you are a classic example of why ROD is as great as it is!

Don't bash the fan for being a fanatic. Especially when a majority wanted Bulger starting over Warner....
.

The fans didnt need to call for the Warner benching. Warner benched himself with his play. He was OUTPLAYED by Bulger at the time, and continued to be until 5 years later. Warner was historically bad in 02, he was the sole reason we missed the playoffs. His turnovers, his fumbles, his hand issue.

Some people are just ignorant. Maybe take a vacation from most social media? ROD is something of a safe haven, I hope. I'm sorry, man. :grouphug:I remember in '95 how bad it sucked. I don't want anyone going through that. Go Rams. Wherever they may be.

That a baby Aaron Green!.. 32 teams passed on you because you were too small & said your video game moves wont work in the NFL

If he makes the team, I see him more of a 3rd-down specialist. His tape of running between the tackles is a mixed bag.

It's going to be a slow, painful journey @badnews. I'm still not completely sure what my emotions will be for this season. I still check on all the news I can and what is happening. I still plan on watching all the games. But I'm not sure how i'll react to good and bad plays. Will be as passionate and crazy? Just don't know yet. Only thing I know at this point is I still care about knowing what is happening with the Rams. I just have zero respect for the ownership and management at this point. Plenty of team fans hate their owners and think they're scum but still cheer for the team. I've mostly let the trolling roll off my back from other fans. If I see blatant falsehood as an attempt at real insults I'll throw in some facts whether it's negative or not but life's too short to worry about internet trolls.

It's going to take time but I think most of us who stick around will get back to a happy place lol.

Seriously though, if Goff is struggling it's because we're throwing him in the fire to get him up to speed.

If the idea was to coddle him and make him look good to all these new fans, I have no doubt they could have scripted some shit against a soft cover 2 shell and let him look good in front of these great big crowds.
That's not the plan. The plan is to turn this dude into our franchise QB, this year.

The best thing to do is just ignore the idiots. I know, it's a lot easier said than done. I'm happy the team is back in LA, but you guys in St. Louis got a bad deal and deserved a lot better than Stan. I know I'm stating the obvious, but the bottom line is, we're all Rams fans. Some of us might be in LA, some in St. Louis, some even elsewhere, but we still have that one major thing in common. Loving the Rams.

Thanks Psycho. It sounds like we are processing this in very similar ways. I'm sure the same could be said for most who are still around.
Maybe one day all this has passed and we could just be RAMS fans at a game, having a cold one. First round is on me.

Totally reminds me of the old days.
The Rams fan was like put the other guy in. Just cat calls & fans expressing there opinion. .

I yelled out to put in Mike Thomas which Is Different .Bradley is a back up .

Yeah, but Old School is a pretty good dude. I think some of the city-bashing on both sides is over the top, too. I get excited about the season, and then I hear guys saying, "They are LAs problem now...ten years of bad teams, they are going to have ten more..." etc. If it isn't fun anymore, it probably should be set aside. I know '95-97 were kind of a blur for me. I didn't "heal" probably until '98. I remember debating in the AOL days with guys about whether this Warner guy was any good at quarterback.

Peace Rams bro.

I don't and never have lived in LA sorry. The only time the Rams had me pissing and moaning is when they traded Dickerson away.
