Favorite albums or songs?
For albums, it’s Foxy Shazam’s Box of Magic, Band-Maid’s SCOOOOOP, Pup’s Who Will Look After the Dogs, Car Seat Headrest’s The Scholars, Sports Team’s Boys These Days, and Prima Queen’s The Prize. Singles are LaRussell’ss “I Got Flavor!,” Band-Maid’s “Ready to Rock,” and Aesop Rock’s hilarious “Roadwork Rappin’”, which I annoy my wife by singing constantly. Filmed performances of the year are LaRussell’s “10s 20s Medley” on “Tiny Desk” and Crack Cloud’s “Beyond the Red Mile” on YouTube.
The one thing you couldn’t stop talking about or recommending to others?
Band-Maid, Foxy Shazam, LaRussell on “Tiny Desk.”
I'm figuring since I brought up Donny Osmond yesterday I thought I'd post a video of The Osmond's taking their crack at metal...

My two sisters were fanatics.... They must have played Sweet And Innocent 10,000x a week.... uggh.Didn't see your other post but... My wife was always a huge Donny Osmond fan growing up. I heard he was coming to town a couple years back so I got us front row tickets to his show for her birthday. I was half doing it as a joke but I knew she would really want to go see him. Turned out, he put on one hell of a show.

The Surf Ballroom is about an hour and a half from where I live , the wife and I have been there a few times , we've even gone out to the crash siteMy mom shared a story with me just recently, I never knew.
She was the first graduating class from Clairemont High (San Diego- later the school Fast Times of Ridgemont High was based. Didn't know that either! "Mom your high School was Fast Times High! That movie was a classic when I was in High School. (1982 release) How Ironic.")
Anyway, in September 1958, a few months before the plane crash, Richie Valens came to an opening of her high school, and she said it was such a surprise and so much fun. She and her friends were dancing and had a blast. Valens was only 17, himself! So, he was their age.
So young to die. It must have been such a shocker.
