Stoneground is a band I went to see many times during the 70's. There were always at least a dozen musicians and singers on stage. It was organized chaos. They were led by Sal Valentino, who was in a 60's band called the Beau Brummels and had this one hit....

Another high school band favorite and just one of my all time favorite songs. The trombone part absolutely rips.

I'd heard it but not many times, the great thing about the Super bands like the Beatles and Eagles when they broke up is you get to hear what parts of the original sounds the individual members contributed ,their writing and arrangements are reminiscent
