the wife and I did the cemetery tour last night

stopped at the store , got just enough food for the two of us to grill

and thats it...................lol

I've always liked Loverboy , I know for certain I've seen Loverboy in concert , more then any other band , not that I was a huge Loverboy fan , but in seemed like every concert I went to in the 80's , Loverboy was the opening act

I still remember buying my first SONY Walkman , and I bought the Loverboy debute album at the same time

I had listened to other peoples Walkman , but the first song I ever listened to on my Walkman..............

I'm with you man. Not the biggest fan either... but I hear them once in a while as I'm flipping through channels on Sirius and have to listen. Those 80's were some sweet times.

My super innocent girlfriend's Dad was an eye doctor. This was back in like 82 or close. Obviously Loverboy was like the shit then. She was so hot. We used to sneak out of our houses to see each other in the middle of the night. She was a very solid good girl though.

Years later when I was in college. Her Dad somehow found me and called me out of the blue. He was hoping that maybe HE could get us reconnected. We lived in San Antonio when we were a thing in the Loverboy days. I was finally back in Florida and she wasn't far away going to college at Duke. So I called her out of the blue... he gave me the number. She was too proud to agree to see me if I drove up to see her. I had broke up with her back in TX in those Loverboy days. I still admire her pride and her ability not to ignore her principles. She made someone a first class wife I'm sure. But those are the memories your post brought back. Mahalos.
