"RamsAndEwe wondering if pricked, do we not bleed:
My favorite Band along with Steven Wilson's solo material. "

It's good to find a fellow fan @RamsAndEwe . :giggle: I like his solo stuff but I prefer all the quills to stay on the porcupine.

Haven't figured out this new site "upgrade" yet but so far, I 'm not a fan.

You should post more songs young lady. It's always a pleasure to hear your faves.(y);)

Thanks Alan! OK, you asked for it. This 40+ minute song is non-partisan, social commentary on Brexit. Definite Pink Floyd and Yes energy. Majestic melodies.

@RamsAndEwe playing in tune with me:

I detected a hint of Peter Gabriel/Genesis too. I liked it. I have a special place in my musical heart for groups like Yes, King Crimson, ELP, Siberian Light Orchestra and Pink Floyd. The mix of electronic and semi-heavy rock was excellent.(y)

"Majestic melodies" is how I'd describe it myself. Proves my point that you should be posting more.:)

P.S. I'm embarrassed by these pitiful smilies. Upper management has assured me that they are working on a fix. :)

Back around 1980 or so I was visiting relatives in Southwestern North Dakota, a town in the middle of nowhere called Hettinger. This was before satellite dishes (except the ginormous, expensive ones) and even with a big aerial, there were 4 tv stations that could be received with a lot of snow - basically one in each cardinal direction. At 5 pm every day, ALL 4 would show Lawrence Welk.

Watched it every time it was on though only because my Grandmother insisted (and owned the TV). I mostly liked all the songs.

I still watch it !!!

some.....

here in Iowa on our Public Television Channel , on Saturday nights , starting at 8:00 , they play old British comedies which I love

well , starting at 7:00 , we get The Lawrence Welk Show , so from time to time , when I go to watch my British Comedies I might turn on IPTV a little early and catch the last part of the Lawrence Welk show

ok , I'll admit it , I love the show , it's just so.......................wholesome :giggle:

especially the ones from the 1970's and early 1980's

we were way cooler in the 70's

one thing was for sure , we sure dressed alot better in the 70's
