Once again yes and no. 15 College games and nothing that screams top 15 starter in 2-3 years. I get every player is a crap shoot. Reading majority of posters on here and vast majority of sports pundits across the country don't see a return on investment with Simpson.

I'll agree to respectfully disagree on him. If he turns into some miraculous player in a few years I'll eat crow. But to this date when making a point about a player on here my diet has been Crow Free!
Watch this interview of Simpson. curious what your take away is. My son sent this to me. He didn't like the pick until he watched this. And he is tough to convince on things like this.... he can be critical.

Actually this film breakdown with Simpson is the one you should watch... the other one is just an interview.

Here he breaks down his own film. Shows that he us a little McVay like with his recall of plays & situations.

Still very possible Simpson can be both, Rostered, and QB3. They do that from time to time most recently with Bryce Perkins, and even 2016 with Goff.
True, but, it would seem they are keeping 5 TEs and maybe 7 DL....numbers game after a bit and if they don't like Bennett enough to have him be the backup, then, they likely move on from him.
If, after camp, Simpson is relegated to the 3 spot, thats not a good start.

We shall serve no wine, before its time....

I think the only way this doesn’t happen is if Ty has a Dak-like rookie preseason where it’s clear as day that he’s a starting QB in this league.

Otherwise either Stetson proves he’s got what it takes to be QB2 or they overpay for Jimmy or Flacco to get off their couch and come be QB2 for a true blue contender.

Didn't Stetson have a good pre-season last year? Looked improved and sort of competent?
