It blocks all of the pop-ups on any site you visit. You can also use it to get rid of static ads too.

I used to use an AdZapper filter for my Squid proxy server, and even running an anti-virus filter as well on that old box converted Linux sever it actually noticeably sped up browsing due to bandwidth alone.

I don't know, I just think it's crazy to think how in a way, some people (depending on what they use their connection for) may actually paying for that extra bandwidth just to speed up the delivery of those ads
