One of the things I heard about McVay upon his hiring from personal friends and other redskin fans, was his inconsistency of play calling. He'd skew up brilliant plays, followed by real head scratchers, usually in the red zone. So if he didn't call the plays, it's clear that he's following the system he was brought up in, bc the stats and play calling decisions lean in that direction.

HC'S usually don't hire coordinators who have radically different scheme ideologies than the ones they want to implement with their team.

What I know from factual history is that his average offensive rank going into this year was 8th out of 32 teams.

I left out 2022 since injuries made their roster pretty much 3rd string.

8th average over 6 years is pretty damn good.

Rams were ranked 16th in redzone scoring in 2021. Fuckin garbage. Why do we put up with this shit.

They need to scrap these damn lobs and fades. It drives me crazy when an offense gets all the way to the red zone and then decided "let's just toss the ball in that general area."

I must admit, I find myself a bit jealous of teams who have QBs that can do something with their legs.

He doesn't do it often anymore, I but even saw Flacco with a long run today.

I find myself jealous of teams that aren't married to one offensive personnel grouping and can come out with some creative calls when needed. That St. Brown pass to Goff was a thing of beauty against the Seahawks.
