The reason for my projection is I know Malcolm Brown can not be counted on. After the last two seasons when Gurley could not go, or he was in need of a rest Brown was not there for us he was injured too. Now if the Rams were to pick up a discarded veteran RB that would fit in this offense right before the season began that would be different.
Valid points almost makes you think of former Ram RB Lamar Gordon, who always looked good in practice, but when Marshall Faulk was hurt, so was Lamar Gordon.
I like Brown, liked him at Texas and he seem to be a nice fine and I was glad the Rams matched the Detroit Lions offer, however, @BonifayRam is on point that there have been too many times that Malcolm Brown has not answered the bell and if there is a training camp and preseason my hope is Brown will be ready in a contract year to prove his worth, which might work out well for both parties.
