Trade for Garrett Wilson
If it only cost this year's first and a future second? Hell yeah, I'd be down for that.
Trade for Garrett Wilson
Godwin's best in the slot. So there is a need but looking at this draft there are slot pass game threat options that should represent young legs and a long future in this offense. I'd rather draft that role.
Higgins is an outside the hash threat who would give the offense something that makes them better, that being the sideline weapon for 4 minute. But I have cooled on him as an option because of the money tied into Kupp, the fact that Higgins has missed some games, and because I suspect this is a clean slate year for that WR room. That said if the Rams go get him plus add a slot weapon in the draft, like one of those TEs or even a dude like Restrepo or Bech, the offense would be back.
The guy who intrigues me most as an X type at 26 is Golden. I just don't think that offense fully maximizes talent. So Golden may be a bit better than his production totals suggest. He's not your classic big body X. But he's got a nice combination of decent size and movement, and he can beat techniques off the line with his release.
Slot types who are wideout source position, meanwhile, give up size and often physicality. Kupp's as physical as a typical TE. But not all these guys are like that. I love Restrepo but he's giving up a ton of size. Bech is giving up catch radius of the big dudes, and he's a blocky build so isn't as elusive as Kupp was at his peak. But watch Arroyo in the pattern, I mean damn. He and Loveland are WR smooth. Fannin is a mix, bigger than the WR slot types too but quite smooth and flexible.
I really think TE is gonna happen. This is the year.
Think Burden will last to our pick?I'd love Arroyo with our first third-round pick. But as far as X receivers go, my choice - and hope - is Luther Burden III. I know some aren't a fan of divas, but McVay's worked with attitudes before, and one thing that I've never questioned about LB3 is his commitment to his team; he never bailed on the team early (like Ja'Marr Chase did with Louisiana State), never threw his teammates or coaches under the bus, and played through obvious pain this year, which - along with Cook and Pyne being atrocious quarterbacks - affected his draft stock.

I wouldn't trade a first for him, fuck that. Got to be a bonafide stud. Not saying Wilson can't be but he played 2nd fiddle to old ass Adams. You see what we did with the last 1st rounder we got lol..... I'd trade a future 2nd and something else though. If it only cost this year's first and a future second? Hell yeah, I'd be down for that.
You've never watched Wilson or maybe you saw like one clip.I wouldn't trade a first for him, fuck that. Got to be a bonafide stud. Ok fine, you convinced me. I just wanna fleece someone dammit hahahahaha. Gonna be a lot of competition if he gets put out on the trade market though. You've never watched Wilson or maybe you saw like one clip.
A 1st and a future 2nd would be a bargain. Poor kids on such a bad team.
He is a stud.
I think Whittington is a diff receiver than Kupp so we shouldn't expect him to do the same things but I am intrigued with him from the slot and in that backfield, he's more of a low rent Debo than a Kupp but can do some Kupp things.
Why not? The Rams are giving up on him and he deserves whatever success he gets after us.There will be other surprise cuts and trades. Remains to be seen who else might be available.
Kupp to me just seemed to be an extension of McVay.
Wasnt a carry over player like Goff or Gurley or a trade pickup like Woods, Ramsey or Stafford.
Home grown superstar. Alas, turn the page and hope they get something decent compensation wise.
On one hand I'd like to see him do well, but on the other I'd hate to see Kupp blow up on the Chiefs
He really is good, we'd be lucky to get him.Ok fine, you convinced me. I just wanna fleece someone dammit hahahahaha. Gonna be a lot of competition if he gets put out on the trade market though.
I mean, Luka Doncic did get traded for a bag of peanuts so I guess there's a chance. He makes plays. I’d be okay with him in the slot as long as we had a real player on the outside. I don’t want to roll with Puka/GRob/whitt…but Puka/Higgins/Whitt….
That’s a different story
Yeah, no one's arguing he's gonna be a cornerstone but I think he could be a debo-light for us. A useful player but not a superstar. He makes plays. I’d be okay with him in the slot as long as we had a real player on the outside. I don’t want to roll with Puka/GRob/whitt…but Puka/Higgins/Whitt….

I mean.. he did this in New York.. him and Puka would be ELECTRICOk fine, you convinced me. I just wanna fleece someone dammit hahahahaha. Gonna be a lot of competition if he gets put out on the trade market though.
