Dave, you are slipping... I thought you were at 19-0?
I was at 19-0 before preseason ended, But Now with Gain's out for the season, and our running game a little dinged-up I had to re-think things!
We will probably only start 4-1! I don't like the Packer game in GB! If we were at home it would be different!:shades:

The Pack never stacks well vs our division... Come on Dave! We got that one!

I hear you, but I believe I read somewhere, the Pack has a huge home-field advantage, and it bothers me, just-a-little! I'd NEVER bet against the Rams!!

I like it this way. The wins are more fun when your team is predicted to be a loser. 1999 was more fun than 2001 (though both seasons were a blast), even without considering the SB game.

The Buffalo Bills havent been in the playoffs in 15 years and after 1 season with a winning record, they are media darlings. All it takes is a winning season and all perspective will change.
Unless of course you're Tony Romo....

I can guarantee if the Rams finished 9-7 and 10-6 in 2016 the team will be predicted to take step back, saying they overachieved and get a 7-9 or 8-8 record.

Not if we keep our players and the DL plays as advertised. As long as we win with real play on the field and not referees help like Dallas or smoke and bandages like Arizona the media will want to fawn on us like anyone else. Of course there won't be any media stories for the next two years about us that isn't talking about relocation, the lack thereof, or the profound effect either decision will have. Better gear up for it now.

Respect is for those who have earned it, not those who demand it.

Until the Rams prove they can win more than 8 games in a season, I will not be surprised by any writers who predict them to do badly, just the way it goes unfotunately

Also, it's preseason, every team is full of optimism, the Rams included, I would be more surprised if the beat writers for each individual team didn't think they could beat the Rams at this point. They don't see the improvementsthat we have made, why would they? They just see their team, and their shiny new draft picks going up against a team that was 6-10 last year.

It is annoying, but it will make it all the more satisfying when the Rams do start winning.
Exactly....

ESPN gets a pass from me, especially while they're trying to nail the Pats against a wall...Still curious why they brought up spygate at this time? Goodell ran out of hush money? Someone doesn't like him? Martz has me a lil upset too...You never change your story...You stick to your guns for the team...ESPN is just ESPN-ing....
