Only thing I remember is Germany whooping that ass that year. Hope they do again this year, but highly doubtful.
Germany is always my #2 next to the U.S
You just never know, they need Musiala to be outstanding and the loss of Karl hurts

Spain & France seem to be the top dogs IMO

WoW! Couldn't ask for much more in a half. Leaders are leading and grinders are grinding. Midfield is dominating

Jesus this US team is relentless. They are pressing the hell out of Paraguay and they don’t have an answer. Defense is doing stellar.
At halftime the kid was like "I think we had the ball the entire first half." Of course it's not like Paraguay is some juggernaut, but I was still in a state of shock. :laugh2:

Yeah Paraguay isn't great but that was a good performance. Now they need to maintain that energy against the other 2 in the group.

Great energy from the US. That's how you can pick positives from a result vs a poor Paraguay team. You guys gave them fucking nothing.

I am so drunk. Doing a duck tour in 9 hours so sleepy time. Slainte

I arrived in Boston today to follow the Scotland team. Conservative estimate is 40,000 Scotland fans in Boston. I have been awake for 24 hours with the travelling and i am at the hotel bar absolutely hosed. Cheers!
dude... you are fucking awesome... we gotta meet up at a Rams game !

So is the American men's team really good or is Paraguay that bad?
I think the former. They showed a level of skill and touch and creativity that feels new. And well coached too, imagination on offense and good positioning on defense.

But yes, USA ranked #17 and Paraguay #41. So tougher matchups ahead.

Balogun with lethal, clinical finishes. Pulisic with the green light to take on anyone one on one. Dest nice speed. And getting Roberts back really settled down the middle of the D.

US team is good they're ranked I think 15th or 16th in the world. Paraguays ranked lower but they played very well in qualifying. They took it to Brazil who's a top 10 club in the world not to long ago. That said that was one of the best team games the US has played in a very very long time. Hope they can keep it up.
