I've determined that I'm too old to wear jerseys anymore. I dunno why. I just feel dumb wearing one now. But I will grab a polo or t-shirt to commemorate this season. I can still pull those off for another decade or two.

Unless you're at the game, or say a SB party?
Or not there either.

Nope. And I don't begrudge anyone else for wearing one. This is kind of a new revelation for me. A couple of years ago I just decided that I feel awkward wearing one. Doesn't feel right anymore.

And hey, a couple of years ago they started winning. So, you're welcome.

Thanks!

I never owned a jersey till 4 years ago - I bought one (ended up with two identical ED away jerseys, one of which @Selassie I has now - another story), to wear at the Thordaddy game in St. Louis.

Since then, I've worn it a few times to the bar where I watch the games, (if they're not on TV), and have had the same thought, as in "Ya know man, you look pretty stupid - a 70 year old wearing a jersey", and have also thought, "Fuck it, I'm 70 - I don't care what these assholes think".

I know what you're saying though. And their fortunes changed shortly after I bought them, so you're welcome as well.

I am wearing it to my buddy's SB party Sunday.

As far as the original topic - wouldn't buy NFC Champs stuff - SB or nothin'!

Wow, she’s a keeper!

I surely think so!

And as I was telling her about your post, she said, "well, if they win the Super Bowl, I'm getting you more."

Definitely...definitely a keeper!

That's cool.

It's the exact opposite for me. Didn't want to give the NFL a dime and felt awkward wearing one.

Then the wife bought me a Warner jersey. Was one of the cheaper ones, but she bought me two of them. Was right after Warner went to the Giants and they were on clearance for $10. It's crazy. I wear one and have kept one with the tags on.

During the season the family could see and hear (I couldn't shut up about it to be honest) what an amazing season this was, they'd heard me say that we are going to win the Super Bowl in April and they got me a Kupp jersey. I was torn because there's so many players to honor by wearing their jerseys.

Got my eldest an Aaron Donald jersey for Christmas and just now as a thank you to my youngest, got him a Goff jersey (they are a lot alike).

It's weird, I guess. For all my adult life, it seemed weird to me to wear one and it's only changed recently.

Life...

And now watch me REALLY derail this thread.
Ever hear the song 'Your Best Friends are Make Believe' by Bloodhound Gang?
It's hilarious.

I will be wearing my jersey I bought used but not while eating BBQ ribs. No money to the NFL from me any more.

I have a St Louis Rams flag that I bought back for SB 36. I hung it outside the house. The Rams lost that Super(CHEAT) BOWL...where the league destroyed the video evidence that would reveal ho in depth that cheating was.

I'm flying that flag Sunday...WIN OR LOSE!!!

The NFC Champs gear will be cheaper after the Rams take SB LIII...I'll buy both then...(y)

Regardless what happens in the SB the NFC Champ shirt really is only worth wearing outside the house for two weeks.

After that it is really a lounging around the house shirt.

Having said that I would buy it just to be able to wear that two weeks.
