I am not into championship gear much.

I am always tempted, but if I am buying something I usually go for standard gear.

One of the Quality control ladies where I work will be involved in Super Bowl shirt sales. She tells me she will be downtown all weekend, so I asked her to hold a couple back for me. I'm sure her venture is evolving as we speak. I may make it a point to find her to support both her and the game.

I'm with Danny, I dont usually go for that kinda stuff but for the SuperBowl I will make an exception,

It's funny you mention Mitchell and Ness, because of all my jerseys one made by them is my absolute favorite in fit and quality. The difference is so glaring that I almost started a "Jersey Buying" thread about it. Truth is there's an enormous difference in these jerseys and some of the things I've learned the hard way:

- Number size. It's the most glaring difference you see nowadays. You can get a jersey nice and cheap on the site and all, but usually even the ones going for a hundred-ish bucks have undersized numbers. And in a very sneaky way the team has changed the graphic of the jerseys to where you don't get the one pictured (many of them have the bigger numbers on the pic).

- Stitching. The expensive jerseys have stitched numbers and names. Using my Mitchell and Ness jersey as an example, each letter is stitched, as are the numbers, even the horns on the sleeves are stitched on the interior. Something fans don't really look for when they buy a jersey but these types tend to age extremely well (I have a Faulk I'll be wearing to the game that I bought in '99 and it still looks amazing, oh and it still fits me because I bought it big looool).

- Collar thickness. Lot of the cheaper jerseys have a thin collar and they feel/fit weird and some of the ones I have I'll only wear with a hoody underneath.

- Material. I really like some of the new jersey materials, but you gotta consider the material because there's some difference in them depending on which you buy. If you buy from Throwback Joe's website for example the material is not the same as some of the newer ones and some like them some don't.

So yeah wherever the Mitchell and Ness is made, quality is quality. (y)

I remember when we won Super Bowl 34, and my wife bought me sweatshirts and Super Bowl merch. following the game. When I chose to wear anything from 1999, the one NFC Champ sweatshirt was never my first choice. it looked pretty nice, but there was no substitute for Super Bowl 34 victory stuff.

If the impossible happens and the Pats luck out on Feb. 3rd, will you buy and wear NFC Champ gear, or is that cheering for being 2nd place?

I'll do that.

It'll probably be on sale, too.

But yeah, I'm proud of this season, our guys and would proudly wear it.

Thankfully, that won't be an issue because we're winning this freakin' game!!!

When the Rams win, I'm actually going to buy 3 jerseys with the Super Bowl winner logo on them... AD, Gurley and Goff.

No if...got the money ready.

For all my youngest son's hard work in so many areas as well as ditching his being a jinx to us to help us win that big game, I bought him a Goff jersey (they look a lot alike, actually /w my son being 6'6", lanky and goofy in a cool way) in throwback blue and yellow.

I coulda got it with the Super Bowl logo on it, but I wanted the jersey to be timeless.

Once we have our new unis, in addition to the AD jersey I got for my oldest son, I'll be getting him one of those fully stitched Deacon Jones jerseys seeing as Jones is his favorite player of all time.

And if I'm feeling really crazy, I'll buy myself a Tom Mack jersey...because... I sorta have to...

Nice!! I bought an authentic Gurley throwback jersey and then bought the jersey SB 53 logo separately. I will have the logo put on the jersey so my son can have it by SB Sunday! I also picked up an Issac Bruce throwback for my daughter and a Rams shirt for my granddaughter. Go Rams!

I definitely want to get a collection going.

Saw a Youngblood jersey posted early and I want one of those, a Nolan Cromwell, Tom Mack, Merlin Olsen, Deacon Jones and Eric Dickerson as well as AD, Gurley, Goff, Hekker and Zuerlein.

But first things first.

I bought an NFC Champs shirt. I know it’s just the conference championship but crap, the last time I had an opportunity to buy one was 17 years ago.

To me, it’s a reminder of how far we’ve come.
Me too... same reason.

Found out today that the wife bought me some, already.

She said that she knew how important THIS season has been and didn’t want me to miss out whether we won the Super Bowl or not...plus, I’ll be able to throw out a bunch of old t-shirts that she hates.

After the Rams win this year's Super Bowl. Demand should then go down on NFCCG Champion gear so could be some sales savings.

my only problem with those is the freaking Patriots logo
You still flying those Rams flags from your truck and repping Rams gear in New England?
