I am a bit torn.
Don't forget round 2, I don't read about this factor much

Right now @3 as we sit Wa then Philly
@4 Min then Det

The Min then Det may be the better matchup
Agree, those two are more winnable than heading to Philly in rd 2. And the long range forecasts s show it being very cold here in mid January. Not ideal.

Watching Coach McVay show it sounds pretty obvious that they will rest starters. I’m not 100% behind this path, I think they can lose momentum that can be gathered in continuing tk win.

Also curious about what season ticket holders think about phoning in the last game.
I know what you're saying about momentum but what momentum has this offense had lately? Maybe a break, a complete reset is what they need to get back to form.

And just imagine of Stafford would get a serious injury, e en if it was one he could play with, but at a diminished level. Or if Alaric Jackson went down or Verse etc...

I am looking forward to seeing Corum, Schraeder, Brennan Jackson, Josh Wallace, as well as guys like Whittington, McCoulough and, Tyler Davis getting more snaps, etc...

Even a guy like Dylan McMahaon, at center, should be interesting. He played well in the preseason with Philly. It was a surprise here in Philly that they tried to sneak him on to their practice squad during cut downs.

Yeah, there's no reason to risk key players. Our bye was 3 months ago. They could use the rest and rehab. And who knows, maybe a backup or two will show something the staff hasn't seen from them yet. I'm curious to see if JG can still play.

I always find it tough to assess a player or group in these situations. If Seattle plays 1's and we play several 2's & 3's this assessment becomes nearly impossible at times

RBs, QB's and WR,s often look like shit with poor OL play or just an overmatched OL

Already been announced Jimmy G to start. So yes, McVay will allow some starters to rest.

Puka is 10 yards from a 1000 yards. Will he get it? Should he get it?

We've already shown we can hang with Detroit, and we've already beat MN, so that's doable.

Philly is a BAD matchup, and Washington is an unknown since we haven't played them.

Methinks this team can just as easily beat or lose to any team in the playoffs.
It's just a matter of which Rams team and McVay's play calling shows up.
I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride.

Agree. I'm hoping Corum gets some run. Would love to see what he can do in extended action.

Coaches love to talk about complementary football. This team rarely plays complementary football. If the offense has a good quarter or half, the defense stinks in that quarter or half. If the defense has a good quarter or half, the offense stinks in that quarter or half. If we can actually get both units playing well together for long stretches, we'll have something. And I'm now convinced both units are capable of it. The defense really came on later in the year. Will they do it? Who knows.

And Wash just signed Max Pircher to get some intel on us. He was an international player if memory serves correct.

Add Forbes for me. And maybe one of those DLinemen off the practice squad.
