Wouldn't shock me if Corum sits and we see a Ronnie Rivers / Cody Shrader combination.
He said on his coaches show tonight that he is looking forward to seeing Corum and Schraeder play and of course it would be an opportunity to see Garrapolo play.

Can you imagine the dejection the Lions and their fans would be feeling if they lost their last 3 games.
last 3 games?

they won last night, so only 1 game left on schedule, then playoffs. Worst case scenario is losing last 2

Watching Coach McVay show it sounds pretty obvious that they will rest starters. I’m not 100% behind this path, I think they can lose momentum that can be gathered in continuing tk win.

Also curious about what season ticket holders think about phoning in the last game.

Well McVay has rested starters twice in the past going into the last regular season game. Both times we were one and done in the playoffs.

Well the season ticket holders phone in most of the season by selling their tickets.

Our core backup o lineman needs reps. I'm talking Noteboom, Josh Jackson, McClendon. They need to be ready for the playoffs.

this has been discussed many times over on this board.. let's not go there

thanks
Maybe, but the fact is we don't have a hardcore season ticket holder fan base, so not sure I would consider their feelings.

Sometimes things coincide with other things. It is called a coincidence and have nothing to do with each other. The punt returner and Ogeltree, doomed the atlanta game. Resting players was coincidental. Detroit being really good and the refs not calling multiple obvious penalties at critical times is coincidental to resting players.

Resting our players will give them the best chance to win. Of course if they win, it could be just a coincidence.

After watching Detroit's defense tonight, I see Minnesota beating them. Hell, we should be able to put up points on this Lions defense, especially at home. Maybe we rest our guys and take the four seed.
Well we couldn't put up points against the Jets or the Cards D. Even a beat up Lions D is likely on par with them.

Cards D features Baker. And that's kinda it.

Resting starters against a motivated Seahawks team that wants 10 wins for a moral victory. TB plays NO in a must win game. Sounds like we're hosting Detroit or Minnesota. I hope Detroit wins. I'd rather play Minnesota.

I am a bit torn.
Don't forget round 2, I don't read about this factor much

Right now @3 as we sit Wa then Philly
@4 Min then Det

The Min then Det may be the better matchup
