You missread I was a college wrestler.
Nice cherry picking btw

A college wrestler for 4 years?

What did I cherry pick? You have no experience in the arena you’re claiming is rampant with peds. But sure continue saying it like it’s a fact that you know all about lol

On the contrary,
If you were in college sports then you know a lot of guys who wrestled also played college football. I also knew that at least half of the dudes on my wrestling team used some form of PED. And most of those same guys played football. And their reason behind the ped use was because for injuries not performance enhancement. Either way it's fairly common in college and professional sports to say otherwise is just ignorant.

I'm not even sure why you picked up on this Convo. This isn't something you can win. We are both disagreeing about something neither of us can actually prove. We're going off life experiences and what we've seen in sports.

Internet athletes huh.... Again Not to be a dick but if we met in person you'd never say something like that to me. Check out my insta page.
I hold a second degree black belt in Brazilian jujitsu
First degree black belt in judo
Was a state champion wrestler in college
And while I wasn't a state champion on our swim team I also participated in that. Yeah swim wasn't my best sport lol
Anyways before you make assumptions you should really think before you type.
Fact is ive been around professional athletes since high school. And while not all use PEDs there are a shit ton who do.
Peace and love brotha

Who cares? You’re not an NFL player, past or present, so your experience is irrelevant.

As is yours and your belief that there isn't PED type shenanigans going on in the locker room tbh. This is just such a weird soap box to stand on to me. Nobody knows as you say but we've heard former players say it happens yet people ignore that.

I suspect the PED usage is higher than people think. Just based on logic, as I have not lived a life of superhuman athletic lifestyle or anything like that. I wasn't the freshman player who got to play with Varsity, I was the guy who hated hell week because I was hungover for every practice.

But think about what is at stake. Why wouldn't they be using PEDs. I would. If I was good enough to where PEDs would put me over the top you bet your ass I'd take them. There's a big difference in being a top player and being just a guy in this league. You want to cash in, why not give yourself every advantage.

The NFL tests players, so my position actually has facts behind it. You can question the accuracy of the tests, but that is not a basis to accuse Aaron Donald or any other player of steroid use.

The NFL randomly test players. And from my understanding the players know when those test are coming. If you knew ANYTHING about it you would know about cycling and how to beat one of their upcoming test. It's not hard lol

So we're back to being naive and thinking the people making and using these drugs don't know how to beat them?

NFL players and former players have straight up admitted this and people still want to go around ignoring reality. I'm not calling anybody who does it a bad person, but I will call people that get caught stupid for getting caught. It's simply a fact of life that these guys have millions and millions of dollars on the line or at stake and will do what they can to maximize that.

The point I think@AvengerRam is trying to make is that even though there may be steroid use in the NFL, you can’t just accuse someone like Aaron Donald of using steroids without proof.
Precisely. He is one of the greatest Rams players of all time, and one of the NFL’s best as well. Why would any Rams fan wish to suggest (with no positive test or other evidence) that he’s a steroid user and, in doing so, take away from his accomplishments?

Yes guys that wrestled in high school may have also played football. There was a decent crossover at some schools but most wrestler don’t have the body type or athletic ability that football requires(not saying they aren’t athletic it just is a different sport).

Half of your college wrestling team was taking peds? Was this a division 1 school or a small school?

I agree we can both have different opinions it’s just mine comes from years of personal experience in the sport. Both as a player and a coach. If that is the experiences you had in college I would have to wonder if this wasn’t during the 90’s or 80’s. Again idk your age and you don’t have to tell me. Just if that was the case I may be inclined to believe you more.

To believe Aaron Donald is a juiced ‘Roid head, you would have to believe he’s done it since college and even high school. He didn’t have a Barry Bonds summer where he gained 20-30 lbs of muscle in a impossible short amount of time without PEDS. So that means that AD would have to be smart enough to beat random tests all along, without even one former teammate at Pitt, St Louis or in LA ratting him out?

BS. He is a legit physical freak in my book and the best DT I have ever seen in the NFL.

AD never played for Pete Carol so I doubt he ever used PEDs.

I doubt AD juices for the record. But one never knows.

I'm not saying he is. But to categorically deny he or anybody else isn't doing it because the NFL "has testing" is just plain naive. We know if you've listened to former players talk that it happens in the NFL. That's what I'm saying.

That does it I'm so sick of this. Suspend Donald for the last preseason game. He forfeits a preseason check! That'll teach him!
