I don't know about anyone else but I thought this scrimmage was a bad idea from long ago.

Totally not surprised that the Bungles tried to get AD all wound up after he smothered their chances of a SB victory.

AD just does not provoke anyone. No matter how anyone may think one can control themselves, we can all be provoked enough to lose our shit.

Nothing better happen with this. So far I haven't seen anything on NFL.com.
The weird part is that Lael Collins was the instigator and his ass was sitting home as a Cowboy. It wasn’t even someone who was with them last year…

but yeah. Not a great idea

AD was just channeling his inner Mac......

Get bent media ... Collins trying to take a leadership roll like this is a new Bengals team. Someone tell Collins they won't be coming out of the AFC this year. It's so dumb the media again take down a classy champion AD worst offense on the actual football field is occasionally lose his temper gets cheap shotted constantly and has to do his job while being triple teamed. It's like one officer taking down a gang of 3 lol. Yet let's basically tip toe around to the Watson story it's too sensitive there's no proof he wasn't convicted money grab....I cannot stand it all people do is try to tare down the good and build up or ignore the bad these days worse than ever.

Btw Cooper Kupp is racist he hates white people!!!!

I just Wish AD would stop ripping helmets off. He's going to injure somebody bad sometime. Rather see him punch someone in the face really....
I'll second this.

I looked at the video, and it was really hard to see what happened since it was so far away. I could see that AD swung the helmet and it hit one of the Bengal players with a loud smack, not sure where it hit him though, maybe on the shoulder pads.

Here's a link to a video of AD's helmet swings:

A lot of detail we don't know about this, so hard to judge. Was AD provoked or not?

But yeah, I think we can all agree that the way Myles Garett swung a helmet and struck the bare head of Mason Rudolph was pretty crazy and dangerous.

So if AD was swinging the helmet "only at Bengals players who were protected by their own helmets", does that make it less bad?

Just for comparison, here's the Garrett video from 3 years ago.

Collins kept starting shit with Floyd and he has for years. They go all the way back to LSU vs Georgia and had an incident last year when he was a Cowboy. Collins absolutely started shit, not excusing AD in this statement.

did anything happen to the stealers player that kicked garrett in the head while he was lying on the ground? of course not.

rudolph got an education in what happens when you act like an ass to a defensive lineman. i was so happy when garrett swung that helmet at his ugly head.

.

I have stayed away from all sports media today to avoid aggravation, I can only imagine. Just ignore gents it isn't worth the aggravation. Maybe the 1's should only go at each other for 1 of the 2 days. This just doesn't play out well over a 2 day period in many circumstances.

And, of course, private/in-house = no suspension.

(That is the least surprising thing you'll read today!)

Suspend him for the final preseason game, which he might have played a series but unlikely, and fine him around $100k and donate that to some charity and nobody will hear about it.
