Why do I find so much joy in pissing 9er fans off? My Rams DNA is out of control.

This is from a article with NFL execs ranking the top teams in the NFC. The article has the Rams ranked third
in the conference and that just did not sit well with this 9er fan.

His response to the article:

Lol at ranking the Seahwaks and Rams over a healthy Niners team. Rams haven't beaten the Niners in two years, even when playing against their backups. Seahawks are team dying on the vine.

I mean what exec thinks this? "The voter ranking San Francisco 10th thought the pass rush was overrated beyond Bosa and Arik Armstead."

Niners have one of the deepest d-lines in the league. And the other guy saying they have average talent lol. They have one of the most talented rosters in the league on both sides of the ball. Are these "Executives" of stadium sanitation or something? The amount of ignorance sprinkled throughout this is astounding. What a joke. Do better Athletic.

My response to his comment without giving away my Ram fandom.

Greg H. I think it might have something to do with the fact that Shanahan
has only had 1 winning season in the four years he has been HC of the 49er's
Just for context sake
The Cardinals have won 24 regular season games during that period while
the 49er's have won 29. While the 9er's are talented , they are being lead by a losing HC.

I'm with you on my super-fandom of the Rams. It's actually over-50 years for me.

I can go back to 1970 and George Allen's final season with the Rams. Sat at my kitchen table listening to the final game of the season on a small transistor radio. Rams at Yankee Stadium vs. the Giants. I lived in NYC but the game was not on TV because of the dopey black-out rule in place. If the 9-4 Giants win, they go to the playoffs for the first time in half-a-dozen years. If the 8-4-1 Rams win, and the Forty-Niners lose later that day to the Raiders, the Rams go to the playoffs.

Rams won 31-3. Roman Gabriel throws two touchdown passes to Pat Studstill ... he was the Rams' punter! Little slow guy.

Few hours later, the Niners crush the Raiders, and the Rams' season is over.

I am just saying, I have loved the Rams for half-a-century.

I do not like the Arizona Cardinals. I really dislike the Seattle Seahawks. However, that's nothing compared to my hatred for the San Francisco 49ers which borders on being mentally unstable.

That being said, the 49ers are really good in my opinion. The injuries they had in 2018 and 2020 were extreme. Only a couple teams each season suffer an extraordinary number of injuries to key players, at key positions; and San Francisco was one of those teams in both 2018 and 2020.

In 2019, that was one terrific football team; and, I would love to be wrong here, the fucking 2021 Niners look stacked to me.

The Niners are gonna be our biatches this year.... Different QB will make all of the difference.

First part of the scouting process for Snead should be scouring a prospect's background for fandom of a divisional team.

Personally, I have a ton of respect for Kyle Shanahan. I believe he's a top 5 coach in the NFL. He's built a very talented roster and has a great system. His situation with Jimmy G reminds me of Reid and Alex Smith, McVay and Goff. I'll even go on to say the 2019 Niners were better than the 2020 Bucs.

At the end of the day it's hard to hide a QB when you need to score late in the fourth quarter. The Niners drafted Trey Lance with a particular player in mind. The kid is a tremendous athlete, great arm. It's gonna be very interesting to see how it all plays out in SF this year.
