Good lesson for all you gamblers. Its about winning, not FF points, point spreads or padding your pocket, and Gurley gets it.

I didn't care about fantasy football or point spreads.

I also like the idea of him scoring a touchdown there because it builds confidence and asserts more dominance and forward aggression - basically I like it for the mental aspect of "We dropped 36 on y'all and our RB is on pace break the TD record." I just see it as more positive momentum rather than passive laying down.

I'd prefer he scored but like i said it's really not a big deal - the best argument against scoring in my mind is an injury happening on defense in the last 30 secs.

Not necessarily the odds that they fumble the snap on the next play are probably less than a percent difference than if they scored... either way its like 99%...

I wish there was a place I could find that has a recap of the win probability play by play.

Because Gurley is a smart football player who buys into the entire WE concept and has his priorities straight. He knew - just like in his rookie season that winning sometimes means giving up some stats. That was MVP stuff right there.

It was a class act because it effectively ends the game and puts the Packers out of their misery.

It's also a plus from an injury prevention perspective. We have a Superbowl to win!

Go Rams!

I bet there's a lot of people ticked off because it would have covered the spread.

That's why I don't gamble. :D
There was one guy, who apparently is associated with Barstool Sports, wishing Gurley was dead, and also wished his house burned down, etc. It was really a disturbing rant on Twitter. If I find it, I will post.

I had Green Bay +8.5. That touchdown would have cost me money! I would never bet against the Rams to win, but that point spread was juicy. I figured the Rams would win by 7 or less.

Yeah, that's the sound of someone who can't get laid.

Twitter should require a user license and a fucking IQ test.

You’re right, any self-respecting girl is kicking that jackass in the nutsack.

I love it when compulsive gamblers lose their house and blame others for it. Sad sack assholes.
